We explored Stafford in Brisbane and we were blown away by this hidden gem!

Sometimes, getting lost is the best way to find something amazing. I say this because I had one of the greatest weekends ever after finding Stafford by mistake when lost on a Brisbane road.

I was trying to escape the city noise and, being directionally challenged, took the wrong turn. But, as it turns out, I landed in  Stafford, a place I’d never heard of but now can’t stop talking about.

To wrap this up, Stafford is an adventure with scenic nature spots, vibrant shopping centers, and a laid-back, community-friendly atmosphere. So, if you’re ready for a whole lot of fun, let me be your guide!

Where is Stafford?

Stafford is in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, right between Kedron to the south and Everton Park to the north. If you’re driving, you’ll find it just off the busy Gympie Road, with the Brisbane CBD just a short drive away.

The suburb is perfectly positioned. It’s bounded by Webster Road to the west and Stafford Road to the east, with plenty of parks, shops, and cafes to explore in between.

How to Get to Stafford

Closest subway stop:  If you’re taking public transport, hop on the train to Alderley Station and then catch the 345 bus, which will drop you right in the heart of Stafford. Alternatively, you can take the 370 or 375 bus from the city.

If you are driving, Stafford is conveniently located off Gympie Road. Head north from the city, and once you pass through Lutwyche, you’re almost there.
