Brisbane Riverwalk is right in the heart of Brisbane, Australia. It stretches along the Brisbane River, starting from the vibrant Howard Smith Wharves under the Story Bridge, all the way to the bustling Botanic Gardens.

How to Get to Brisbane Riverwalk

Closest subway stop: If you’re using public transport, just hop off at Central Station and take a short walk down Ann Street towards the river. You can also catch a CityCat ferry to the Howard Smith stop, to drop you at the Riverwalk.

Alternatively, if you are driving, there’s parking available at Howard Smith Wharves and around the Botanic Gardens. And if you’re biking, Brisbane has plenty of bike-friendly paths leading to the Riverwalk.

Best Time to Go to Stittsville’s Carp Road Flea Market

Plan your visit to experience the Brisbane Festival around September. This annual event lights up the city with arts, music, and cultural performances, and the Riverwalk becomes a prime spot for viewing the Riverfire fireworks display.

During the festival, the whole area buzzes with energy, and you’ll find plenty of pop-up bars and food stalls along the walk. So, mark your calendar and get ready to enjoy one of the city’s most exciting times!
