Eleanor Fletcher has always been fascinated with Australia's beautiful landscapes, culture, and history. When attending university, Eleanor discovered her passion for journalism as well and combined it with her love of the country to earn a reputation as a student-writer doing heartwarming stories on Brisbane residents. She later became a beat reporter for a local paper before rising up the ranks to become an editor. At some point, she got together with friends to start our site, where she hopes to provide guides and authentic reviews for the city’s shops and services. When she’s not overseeing our work at HQ, she enjoys composing poetry and likes to travel frequently for inspiration.

Ian grew up in Brisbane and currently lives in the city with his family. Originally from St James College, he majored in Commerce at the University of Southern Queensland. He has worked largely in the claims and financial analysis field since then. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking Ian is chained to his desk. One of his favourite pastimes is simply enjoying the great outdoors by walking Brisbane. He is also a huge fan of eating out and can often be found out in the city or checking out what’s happening at Queen Street Mall.

Myles is a Brisbane native who’s been in the writing game for a while now. He’s especially interested in digital topics, SaaS, cryptocurrencies, entrepreneurship, technology, NFTs, and video games. That being said, he’s someone who just loves digging into new things at heart, so his review portfolio for us is very large and varied in its coverage.

Tara Tyrrell loves the written word and has spent 20 years making a career of that love as an editor and writer. Though based in Brisbane, she’s actually managed to work with people from almost every continent over the years. She loves to meet new people and discover new things.
