1. Oz Wardrobes Brisbane North Lawnton and Now servicing Sunshine Coast

Nothing ruins a closet faster than shelves pulling away from plasterboard walls. Oz Wardrobes tackles this problem with their patented Rapi-Mount system (Australian Patent 2007262668).
The system secures shelves across three internal walls using aluminium frames and nylon brackets. Plus, the drawer towers and gables sit directly on the floor, transferring heavy loads to your floorboards instead of the walls.
Both the melamine Rapi-Mount and ventilated Dura-Mount systems are stress-tested to hold 40kg per linear metre.
Most of their previous clients praised the team’s quick response, with a callback within eight business hours and computer drawings plus a quote within two days.
Plus, they offer a 10-year warranty, custom-cut DIY packages, and soft-close hardware tested for over 10,000 cycles.
However, soft-close mechanisms aren’t compatible with bright silver or chrome door frames. Each sliding panel must also be at least 600mm wide to fit the soft-close track.
Easy to deal with, professional, turned up on time & installation went very well
I approached Oz Wardrobes to install shelving in a walk-in closet, great service from initial online quote & design from my sketch, onsite visit to measure up & redesign & installation. Easy to deal with, professional, turned up on time & installation went very well, a great business to deal with from start to finish, end result exactly as I wanted. Very happy to support a local business.

The price was value for money as Oz Wardrobes provide a quality product
Oz Wardrobes have been great to deal with from start to finish. We installed a WIR, linen closet, pantry shelving and two wardrobe internals with sliding doors. Mel gave us great advice during the quotation stage and provided the quote very promptly.
Ronan and Tim took a lot of care during the installation resulting in a great finished product.
The price was value for money as Oz Wardrobes provide a quality product.
I highly recommend Oz Wardrobes.

Pushy sales reps who disappear once subcontractors arrive can turn a simple wardrobe project into a headache. Brissy Wardrobes & Sliding Doors avoids this problem by keeping every step in-house.
The team builds each wardrobe from scratch using Australian-made board instead of off-the-shelf filler boxes. As a result, most installations take just one day, with no mess left behind.
They also fit centre support brackets on hanging rails longer than 1,200mm to prevent sagging under heavy coats.
Plus, every project comes with a five-year warranty covering materials and workmanship, along with free measure-and-quote visits across Brisbane.
Unfortunately, homeowners on the outskirts of their service area may face an upfront call-out fee for a quote. To add, you’ll need to pay a deposit before manufacturing begins.
The wardrobes look amazing and the quality is fantastic

The results were amazing
Excellent work!!! My measurements were incorrect and off by about 30mm. I was very disheartened as it was for the custom made wardrobe and they would have to cut the tracks all over again to fix my error and it would have costed me more. However, they took things on board came up with great suggestions and managed to fix it for me. The results were amazing. I am in awe with their work. Look for yourself😀

With over 50,000 installations over three decades, Wardrobe Design Centre brings extensive experience to every project.
They also hold Queensland Master Builders Association accreditation (licence 07620) and offer hundreds of custom woodgrain and metallic interior finishes.
For service, you can speak directly with a wardrobe designer instead of being passed between receptionists. They can build everything locally using heavy-duty, kitchen-quality boards.
Their proprietary support beam system lets you choose wall-mounted or floor-mounted layouts. Plus, you can adjust the design as your family’s storage needs change over time.
Even better, every build comes with a 10-year warranty and a strict satisfaction guarantee.
But note that their custom walk-in drawers use thinner 12mm boards, which feel lighter than the 16mm or 18mm boards some competitors use.
We are very happy with the wardrobe finish
We worked with Wardrobe Design Centre to transform our improvised walk in wardrobe into a shared office/walk in wardrobe space in June 2026. Mark did fantastic work. He took his time to achive the perfect result and was a pleasure to deal with. Over all the whole team was very friendly, able to turn our ideas into design and happy to discuss any changes. We are very happy with the wardrobe finish and it was a great experience from start to finish.

Wardrobe doors and drawers can fall out of alignment after years of daily use. Lifestyle Wardrobes helps address this with a 15-year warranty on their custom-built-ins, including a free service and adjustment tune-up at the 10-year mark.
The team consists of trade-qualified cabinetmakers who manufacture every piece. They use modern machinery and moisture-resistant 16mm Australian melamine to create durable, custom storage solutions.
Plus, the team serves areas from Brisbane North to Ipswich and the Gold Coast, with supply-only DIY packages available.
However, fabrication can take one to four weeks, depending on workshop demand, so rush jobs may be difficult.
Raw Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF) colonial doors also arrive unfinished, meaning Queenslander homeowners must prime and paint them before installation.
We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome
Given the level of service, custom design work and quality of the finished product, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. In today’s market, it feels increasingly rare to find a bespoke cabinetry and wardrobe supplier that delivers such high-quality results while remaining so easy to work with.
We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this business to anyone looking for custom wardrobes or cabinetry. A fantastic team that genuinely cares about delivering a great result.

5. KitchenU

Website: kitchenu.com.au
Address: 74 Webster Rd, Stafford
Contact: 07 3356 1719
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Wasted space above a standard two-metre wardrobe can quickly become a home for dust and stray boxes.
KitchenU solves this problem by building made-to-measure storage that reaches right up to your ceiling, giving you extra room for luggage and other bulky items.
The team uses precision Thermwood Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery at their factory to create custom wardrobes.
You can choose hinged doors with a 2-pack coating to match your existing kitchen or laundry cabinets, all fitted with standard Blum hardware.
They also offer custom shoe racks, integrated lighting, mirrors, and full-service installation by tradespeople licensed by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
And because they manufacture everything in-house using moisture-resistant Australian Laminex boards, you can benefit from factory-direct savings.
Unfortunately, they focus heavily on kitchens, so they may not specialise in dressing rooms as much as dedicated wardrobe providers.
They were great
RevieHighly recommend James and his team at KitchenU. They were great, if you need a professional service they are the guys to choose.
I ordered some cabinets, and they helped me make sure that I had the cabinets I needed, and they were built to work for my purpose, not just to my spec. They made room in their factory pipeline to meet my deadline, and get it completed and to site on time.w
