The 5 Best Couple Spas in Brisbane for Dates Hotter Than Summer

Privacy and Setup: Shared spaces need to feel intimate, not crowded. We looked for dedicated side-by-side suites that give you and your partner total seclusion.

Value and Amenities: A great date is about the whole experience, not just the massage table. We checked if bookings included extras like pool access, parking discounts, or lounge spaces to extend your stay.

Treatment Flexibility: Not everyone wants the exact same pressure or style during a joint session. We favoured spots that let you customise your individual massage while still sharing the same room.

Booking Convenience: Scheduling a joint session around work shouldn't be a nightmare. We considered their operating hours, location, and how easy it is to lock in a weekend spot.

Are you planning a romantic weekend or just desperately need to unwind with your partner? You’re not alone. Busy professionals and locals alike are constantly looking for the ultimate shared escape right here in the city.

A simple stress-relief date can make all the difference for an anniversary. To save you the hassle, we tracked down the best couple spa in Brisbane so you can focus entirely on relaxing.

We’ve also checked out where to get the best massages and the top day spas around town if you want more solo options later. Now, let’s get started!

It was a really awesome experience for spa and massage

It was a really awesome experience for spa and massage. I had been gone with my partner for a couple’s spa. We really enjoyed the couple’s spa and very relaxing after the massage. the staff is all polite and nice and all services are really fantastic.

Worth trying if you have the chance

We went to Stephanie’s as part of a romantic Bastille day.  It truely is a beautiful place with great staff and service.  We booked the Opal steam room for 2 which we could not recommend enough – it was stunning different beautiful romantic and potentially therapeutic in some manner I’m sure – and worth trying if you have the chance.

Then we had a couples massage and relaxed in lounge room with champagne.

Leave plenty of time with your booking to enjoy the spa outside or the lounge before or after your booking.

Website: thaivillagemassage.com.au/

Address: 291 Adelaide Street

Contact: 07 3706 8309 | 0423 913 166

Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Thai Village Massage lets couples share a room while choosing different treatments. One partner can enjoy deep traditional pressure, while the other opts for gentle aromatherapy.

Two therapists work together to deliver both treatments smoothly. They can also use freshly steamed herbal compress balls to help ease muscle tension, adding another layer of relaxation to your visit.

For facials, the team relies on hands-on techniques and luxury Payot Paris products instead of clinical machines. This approach gives you the chance to enjoy treatments that suit your individual needs.

But remember, keep a little extra room in your budget for weekend visits, as the spa adds a surcharge to all payment types.

Also, their multi-hour wellness packages are for one person only, so you can’t split a bundle between the two of you.

Pros

  • Side-by-side mixed therapies
  • Herbal compresses help ease muscle tension
  • Luxury Payot Paris facial products
  • Two therapists work in perfect coordination

Cons

  • Weekend and holiday surcharges
  • Strict no-sharing package rules

Super pleased with our visit!

I went here with my partner and did a couples massage and really enjoyed the atmosphere and overall customer service of the team.

They also did proper traditional Thai massages which can be hard to find.

Super pleased with our visit!

We had a couples massage and they fit us in on the same day that I called. Friendly staff, good communication throughout the whole process, happy to accommodate our individual needs/requests. Reasonably priced. Clean and professional. Very sound proof to outside city noise. Would recommend!

Heavenly Spa by Westin makes turning a quick massage into a full afternoon escape. As Australia’s only Heavenly Spa location, they offer more than just relaxing treatments.

When you book a session lasting 60 minutes or longer, you get free access to the hotel’s steam room, fitness centre, and Brisbane’s only swim-up pool bar. You can even step out of your private couples suite and relax on an in-pool daybed with a cocktail.

For special occasions, the spa also offers an exclusive wellness high tea and uses innovative Epicutis skincare formulas.

A client we interviewed tried the couples high-tea package last month and couldn’t stop praising the calming mindful intention ritual before the treatment.

Unfortunately, the spa focuses strictly on relaxation rather than clinical care. If you need deep remedial or sports massage therapy, you’ll need to find a specialist elsewhere.

Pros

  • Complimentary access to hotel wellness facilities
  • Exclusive couples wellness high-tea package
  • Relaxing pre-treatment mindful intention ritual
  • Innovative Epicutis skincare formulas

Cons

  • No remedial massage options

A perfect getaway spa treatment in the CBD

10/10

A perfect getaway spa treatment in the CBD. The staff were so welcoming and experienced.

I called wanted to organize a couples treatment and they were very accommodating. We added the “nourishing tea” after the treatment for 50$

p/p which was the icing on the cake.

You are also allowed to use the steam room as well as the hotel pool and bar area when completing a 60 min treatment which were very nice.

We both left feeling extremely relaxed and refreshed

Fantastic massage and aftercare

I finally managed to use my Birthday gift voucher from 1 year ago. A very welcoming and professional staff. Thank you to therapist Amber for a fantastic massage and aftercare. Beautiful Heavenly Spa- what a treat!

4. Healing House

Address: 3 Chermside Street, Teneriffe

Contact: 1300 979 555 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Healing House offers a signature treatment that combines rhythmic Thai massage techniques and soothing aromatherapy oils in a shared room.

If you prefer an oil-free experience, you can also choose traditional Thai stretching to help loosen stiff joints and tight muscles.

Another plus is the clinic’s HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) terminal. You can use it to claim eligible private health rebates on the spot for remedial treatments, making payment more convenient.

However, health fund claims don’t cover the clinic’s discounted multi-treatment packages, so you’ll need to budget accordingly.

Also, if you’d like deep thermal therapy with hot herbal compress balls, you must call at least 24 hours ahead. This gives the team enough time to prepare the herbs before your appointment.

Pros

  • Shared room for couples’ treatments
  • On-site HICAPS terminal
  • Traditional oil-free stretching
  • Premium Thann skincare products

Cons

  • 24-hour notice for herbal balls
  • Packages exclude health rebates

She loves the full body scrub

My wife and I go there for the couples massage.

She loves the full body scrub while I get the full body massage.

We go once a month on a weeknight after work and then a quick walk to food just down the road at gas works.

Today’s massage was probably my best one yet!

AMAZING – 3 years on and I still come to this massage / day spa multiple times a year. Today’s massage was probably my best one yet! Thankyou Jang, 90 mins of traditional Thai massage with incredible strength, care and communication. Truly outstanding! 🖤

The spa also features award-winning Retreatment Botanics skincare and relaxation pods with stunning river views, giving you more ways to unwind after your massage.
