Pros

  • Good clinic location
  • Wide range of services and updated facilities

Cons

  • Has a huge client demand
  • Some instances of appointment delays
  • Fees are a bit premium compared to its counterparts

It’s actually great that Cutis Dermatology is conveniently placed in two convenient locations. Though they always expect a high volume of clients, it’s great to know that more slots can still be allotted.

The clinic can be pretty strict about being prompt during appointments. Because of their thorough patient registration process, they even requested us to go ahead of our schedule.

However, appointment delays are still unavoidable, most especially that some patients would require longer treatment procedures. It’s best to manage expectations, just to avoid being further displeased.

Nonetheless, we still appreciate how they take time in providing a comprehensive walk-through of every procedure. They even tirelessly remind us about not wearing make-up and bringing any important laboratory test results during our initial visit.

It’s also quite notable that the clinic has a cosy and welcoming vibe – even those suites that are meant for lasers and operations.

Even better, Cutis Dermatology has an impressive range of equipment and updated tools, which tells us that they are really fully-equipped to assist any medical and cosmetic treatments – even modern ones.

We also like that Cutis Dermatology has quite a number of dermatologists who have gained different practices in the cosmetic and medical industry. It’s great to know that they can address any skin-related concern with full-on confidence from their respective expertise.

We even love that the company continues to align quality practices of Cutis Dermatology among the team. By offering personal training and in-clinic studies, all their medical experts are in constant check of the latest treatment plans.

  • Luxurious vibe

Cons

  • Some reviews on delays due to the long waiting time for treatment machines
  • Slightly higher fees than its counterparts

Another one that deserves a spot on this list is Brisbane Skin. With their outstanding medical and cosmetic dermatology, we’re not surprised to see that the company has been able to keep their solid client base for years.

Brisbane Skin has been known for their wide range of services – from minor cosmetic consults to complex skin conditions. We love that we can maximise their facilities in addressing our skin concerns, saving us a trip to another service provider.

We’re even pleased to know that we can choose from their three conveniently located clinics around Brisbane, which earns them top marks from us!

For more than 10 years, Brisbane Skin has continued to learn new techniques and skin programs to bring the best skin and medical care to the consumers.

We noticed how their team tried to incorporate a luxurious feel from the get-go. As clients, we also appreciate the level of assistance – from signing up to the end of the initial session.

Another thing that we love about them is how they created a detailed list of services on their site – complete with information about treatment duration, recommended number of treatments, and even the expected pain tolerance.

We think that it really helps in managing expectations, making us feel that they want us well-prepared for any procedure.

However, their outstanding services and up-to-date machines come with a hefty price tag. Better get those pockets ready if you want to get some good, luxurious skin treatments.

Pros

  • Provides a thorough walk-through of every procedure
  • Accreditted MOHS surgeons

Cons

  • Limited availability
  • Expect high volume of calls

Though Q Dermatology is relatively new, their team of experts have gained years of experience in the industry, which explains how they are able to provide the best clinical care at present.

What we love about the company is that they provide an extensive range of services, even complex ones like treating skin cancer.

In fact, they have in-house MOHS surgeons on their team, which tells us that the clinic can hold complex surgical techniques used to address skin cancer.

On top of this, their pool of dermatologists have experienced multiple training off-shore, making sure they’re abreast of the advancements in their respective fields. They make sure that they won’t miss out on international conferences and large clinical conventions.

It’s also pretty commendable how the dermatologists provide a thorough walk-through of the procedure. We even like that they just took their time explaining the entire process.

We appreciate them for not making us feel rushed, which is pretty unusual in high traffic dermatological centres.

We also love how their clinic is complete with all the latest equipment and facilities. All tests and procedures can be done in Q Dermatology, which saves us from the hassle of looking for another provider.

However, due to their expertise and complete facilities, securing an appointment may be a challenge as of the moment. Nonetheless, we still think that Q Dermatology is worth the long wait.

Pros

  • In the business since 1996
  • Has in-house training facilities

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Few reports on needing to improve client coordination
  • Some reviews on appointments being to delayed

Since 1996, Queensland Institute of Dermatology has been helping the people of Brisbane with their skin-related concerns.

What we love about them is that through the years, they have stayed committed to delivering quality service to their solid clientele.

The practitioners of Queensland Institute of Dermatology ensure that they get to learn the latest innovations, too. We like how they take a significant amount of time in attending medical conventions after all these years.

On top of this, we commend the company for establishing a training foundation for registrars, helping aspiring practitioners to learn the best practices for clinical dermatological care.

In doing so, we think that Queensland Institute of Dermatology is setting the right foot, especially to the younger crowd who may have not heard about them.

We also think that this is a thoughtful touch, knowing that the company aims to establish the future of medical practitioners. This way, they can also make sure that the best practices will remain intact in the years to come.

However, we’ve encountered a few delays during our visit due to some emergency skin cases. It helps to know that this can get a little frequent, just to manage expectations.

They are also not open on weekends. Therefore, those who would want to give this clinic a try would need to choose a convenient time on a weekday.

Overall, with their years of practice and remarkable reputation, Queensland Institute of Dermatology still deserves a shot on this list.

Cons

  • Some tools need to be updated
  • Small consultation rooms

From simple skin concerns to major skin and infections and conditions, Ascot Dermatology is determined to provide a special and comfortable facility to provide a positive experience to the community.

We believe that the team from Ascot Dermatology still aims to fulfill this promise, even after ten years of being in the business.

Because of this, the company has decided to renovate their old space and transform it into a calm and inviting space. We like that it has incorporated more earthy colours, which easily sends off a sense of tranquil.

We think that it has been a good move, since more clients have been booking frequently since they renovated.

However, we still find their consultation rooms a bit smaller than its counterparts. Furthermore, we found their tools to be a little outdated, it may help if they can revamp this as well.

In terms of rates, we like that Ascot Dermatology provides an upfront pricing on their, which prevents any bill shock from happening. Though there could be possible add-ons for additional medications, it still helps to find a ballpark cost in each kind of skin procedure.
