Pros
- Has a wide range of pet products
- Gives excellent pet advice & toy recommendations
Cons
- Misleading ads
- Expensive medications
Fortitude Valley Vet has a very warm and aesthetic office clinic so most pets and pet owners immediately feel at home the moment they step inside. It also smells good and looks clean, so we’re quite happy that the clinic takes its hygiene protocols seriously.
To add to the warm atmosphere, the staff at the clinic greet you with smiles. They’re also very helpful and don’t hesitate to answer all questions you have, whether it’s about the vets or the services.
Speaking of vets, we really appreciate how they take care of the pets. The way they handle them shows you just how much they take their jobs seriously and how competent they are in terms of animal care.
Another thing we like about Fortitude Valley Vet—it’s a one-stop vet clinic. Other than the usual services of health check, vaccination, surgery, and dentistry—the clinic also offers boarding for your cats, accessories, and toys your pets can enjoy!
We’re a little concerned about the ads though. Some customers told us that it’s better to check first if the promo stated on the online ads are updated, because they were asked to pay more than what was indicated there, which was a turn-off to them.
We also think Fortitude Valley Vet’s fees aren’t those for the budget-conscious. However, if you can stretch your budget a little, we still recommend checking it out—the way the vets care for your pets—topnotch!

Pros
- Offers free consultations
- Offers a lot of other services for pets
Cons
- Mixes up booking details
- Difficult to reach via phone
If we are to choose one thing we love about Kedron Veterinary Clinic, it’s how the staff and the vets are accommodating towards the pets and the pet owners. Going inside the clinic feels like visiting a friend—the people are warm and are always excited for you!
This kind of atmosphere’s very important to your pets—they get really anxious in front of new people and whenever they’re at an unfamiliar place. But because of the comfy atmosphere of the clinic, the pets immediately relax.
We also appreciate that the vets are all experienced professionals. The way they look after the pets’ well-being with ease and familiarity tells you that they’ve done this for years so your fur friends are in good hands.
Another thing we like—Kedron offers free consultations. This isn’t a regular deal so you need to check in advance if the clinic’s currently offering it, but still worth checking out!
We’re not very happy about the booking system of the clinic though. The staff usually mix up the details of the clients, which causes problems and delays–definitely not what you’ll want to encounter when you visit.
It’s also quite difficult to reach Kedron via phone. Though we can be a little understanding since the demand for the clinic’s services is quite high.
Overall, we think Kedron Veterinary Clinic is worth the visit. It offers all the services you’ll want for your pets—from their health to their leisure needs.

Pros
- Open on weekends
- Clean and cosy clinic
Cons
- Costly products and treatments
- Records need to be updated
The best thing we love about Morningside Veterinary Clinic, which we think is its strength—it’s open on weekends. If you’re a very busy pet parent and only have time on Saturday or Sunday, this is the perfect clinic for you to visit!
Having been able to talk to some loyal patrons, they told us that what they appreciate about Morningside the most is how the clinic always updates the pet owners. You’ll always receive phone calls regarding the state of your pets, which is a good thing!
As pet parents, it’s difficult for us to leave our babies somewhere. And having this constant communication with the clinic reduces some of the anxiety we’re feeling since we know what’s happening all the time.
Another thing we appreciate—the clinic’s always spotless, clean, and regularly sanitised. You don’t need to worry about infection or other diseases spreading among the animals.
We notice though that some clients are complaining about how the records aren’t updated. They find it inconvenient that they can’t use their credits because the details are either not recorded or mixed up.
Another thing—Morningside has costly treatments and products. If you have a few dollars to spare though, we recommend still trying it because of the topnotch care the clinic gives your pets.

Pros
- Accommodates same-day appointments
- Convenient Location
Cons
- Inconsistent rates
- Limited access to records
What we love most about Red Hill Veterinary Clinic—it never sends away a client. Whether or not you arrive 5 or 10 minutes before closing, the staff will welcome you with open arms and the vets will attend to your pets without hesitation!
We all love this kind of service, don’t we? It means the clinic values not only the well-being of your pets, but also the personal time and feelings of the pet owners.
The vets know that pet owners won’t rest until they’re sure their babies are okay–talk about empathy! We love that even though the clinic’s open for 7 days a week, yet it still doesn’t close on time and accommodates last-minute and emergency appointments.
Another good thing we appreciate about Red Hill—it uses advanced procedures and equipment. The clinic stays true to its vision of giving the best pet care so it doesn’t shy away from updating its tools and processes.
Also, this is probably the best news for puppy lovers—Red Hill has a really good Puppy School! In fact, most patrons we talked to told us that the clinic has the best puppy trainers—consistent, efficient, and competent!
We’re a little annoyed about the inconsistent rates. Pet owners would want to know the correct fees so they can prepare the budget in advance, and if it’s inconsistent, it could cost a problem on the day of visit.
Another thing—while we understand that the clinic has the right not to divulge information to a third party, pet owners should be an exception. Red Hill doesn’t easily release information about the pets to the owners themselves, which isn’t ideal.
However, in terms of overall animal care, Red Hill is still on top of its game. We think it’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for high-quality pet care at a convenient location!

Pros
- Extensive list of pet services
- Easily accessible with lots of parking space
Cons
- Long waiting time for appointments
- Noisy clinic
If you ask us, Carina Veterinary Clinic’s best feature is its accessibility. It’s located in a nice neighbourhood with a lot of parking space, so you don’t have to worry about bringing a car.
The staff are also very caring and welcoming, always making sure to greet you politely and ask about what you need. The clinic also keeps its records organised so you can easily ask for updates.
In addition to this are the vets. Some regular patrons of the clinic told us that more than the competence, they appreciate how extra careful the vets are to their pets—the way they carry, stroke, and examine the pets show why they’ve chosen this profession.
In terms of pricing, we’re quite surprised at how reasonable the rates are for both the services and the medications. It’s no wonder the clinic’s always full!
This is probably the reason for the long waiting time the pet owners have to suffer from. To add to that, the waiting area’s a little noisy and cramped, so it keeps pets agitated, which is an inconvenience to both the animal and the owner.
Other than those little disadvantages though, Carina Veterinary Clinic is an ideal place for your pets. Easy access, reasonable rates, caring vets, and easy booking system—its pros definitely outweigh the cons!
