Pros

  • Works fast and without delay
  • Regularly updates customers

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Cancels project on the last minute

When it comes to treating customers right, WR Concreting has it in spades. The company makes you feel like nothing’s too much trouble and answers every question you have, even giving advice about the aftercare of your concreted area.

WR Concreting is one of those companies that makes you feel valued as a client. We love how it’s not difficult to take a hold of the company and ask for updates—a staff is always ready to answer your questions either via phone or email.

The on-site concreters are also very professional—they arrive on time and immediately get to work without delay! We want to give them credit for this, because the company’s customers whom we’ve had a chat with told us just how fast these guys work.

Another good thing we appreciate about the company is the transparency about the pricing. When you ask for the quote, it’ll be sent to you immediately with specific breakdowns so you’ll know how the amount came up.

One thing we don’t like though—the company has a tendency to cancel projects at the last minute. This doesn’t happen often, but we still feel sorry for those clients who had to find another contractor when they’re already on a deadline.

Also, WR Concreting isn’t cheap, which might turn some of you off. Quality-wise, it’s one of the standards, so it’s still worth hiring the company if you’re willing to spare a few more dollars.

Pros

  • Responsive
  • Competitive pricing

Cons

  • Doesn’t turn up during quoting schedule
  • Messy work area

What we love about Creative Concrete Constructions is that it offers both residential and commercial concrete solutions. So whether or not you need an area concretised for your business or home, the company can be of service to you.

We’re a little impressed by how meticulous the company is all throughout the process. From the quoting up to the actual concreting, the team is consistent in making sure everything’s done properly.

The on-site workers are helpful and friendly, but also maintain that professional air. They waste no time and immediately get to work, showing us how much they take pride in their work.

We appreciate that the company also hires and trains skilled workers who are already experts at what they’re doing. You can see it in the results—the concreters can easily transform an unsightly area into a respectable one.

Just a small complaint from some customers though that we hope Creative Concrete will improve on—missing quoting appointments. Clients set aside time for it, and it’s not a good impression when the company misses the appointment it had set.

Another thing we hope it can improve on is how some concreters leave the area messy. As customers, we prefer if our contractors can clean up after their work instead of leaving us to deal with them.

Pros

  • Strictly sticks to deadlines
  • Stays within budget while accommodating all client requests

Cons

  • Long wait on phone calls
  • Might not accommodate changes in schedules

Very reliable and accommodating—that’s what Conker’s former clients praise the company for. The team turns up exactly on the promised time and diligently works without dilly dallying!

What we love about the company is that regardless of the difficulties on site like drainage issues or space problems, the concreters always manage to work properly. They know how to carefully manoeuvre their way without damaging other areas.

The on-site workers also regularly inform the client about every development so they know what’s happening. We appreciate the effort in communicating with customers because it makes them feel valued.

In addition to this, the clients also appreciate how the concreters leave the area immaculately clean as if no work has been done. It shows that they respect a space that isn’t theirs—a reason why they have no qualms in becoming repeat clients.

We also think that Conker deserves recognition for sticking to the client’s budget. The company adjusts to the needs of the client and not the other way around.

We need to let you know though that Conker strictly sticks to schedules, so it might not accommodate sudden changes from the clients’ side. On the other hand, this can be beneficial because it means the company always meets its promised deadline.

Also, you should expect to be on call waiting for a long time. Conker has a lot of clients, and it’s sometimes difficult to catch the phone line that’s not busy at all.

Pros

  • Strong client communication
  • Attention to details

Cons

  • Late replies regarding quotations
  • Unanswered phone calls

If you ask us, what we love about the guys at TDH Concrete Services Pty Ltd is that they don’t like wasting any time. They use every minute efficiently and accomplish what they can do in a day.

In relation to this is the company’s thoroughness with details. We admire how the on-site workers are very meticulous, and how they focus painstakingly on the area to make sure the requirements of the clients are met—plus they work fast!

A lot of the former clients told us that the reason why they approached TDH for their projects in the first place was because they had deadlines to meet. The company could accomplish a lot within a tight timeframe without sacrificing the quality.

We think you’ll also appreciate the updates from the concreters on-site. They explain every phase so you can see what’s happening and at the same time understand the process.

Concrete has a curing time depending on what type of structure you have. The efficiency of the on-site concreters makes it easier for the concrete to reach its full strength earlier than it should.

Expect delays in quotations and unanswered phone calls though. If there’s one thing we think TDH Concrete should improve on, it’s the company’s responsiveness to inquiries.

Overall, it’s still a reliable company that does its job well. If you don’t like worrying about minute details, and want less stress and hassle, TDH Concrete is the company to call.

Pros

  • Upfront costing
  • Adapts to changes without complaints

Cons

  • Changes quoting schedule without informing the client
  • Website lacks information

Chatting with a few former customers told us a lot about Silverback Concreting Pty Ltd. They said when it comes to efficiency, nothing can beat the guys at the company.

According to them, the concreters were very resourceful. There were a lot of unexpected problems they encountered on-site like poor weather conditions or the lack of space to move, but the team always adjusted and was able to produce good results.

In relation to this, sometimes some requirements change when the work is on-going due to sudden issues on-site. We appreciate that the concreters don’t stop their work and adapt the changes without complaints.

We also love Silverback’s extensive list of concrete alternatives for clients to choose from. From plain to stamped concrete, you can choose the best one that fits your aesthetic vision as well as your budget.

Speaking of budget, we commend Silverback for being transparent with the costing. No hidden charges at all—the total cost is what’s stated in the quote.

There are just a couple of disadvantages that we’re not in favour of. First, there are times when Silverback changes schedules for quoting without informing the client, so no staff arrives on-site, wasting the client’s day for nothing.

And second, the website lacks information which the clients need when they research about Silverback. We hope the company improves on this so the site can be useful for potential clients.

When it comes to overall service, Silverback is still a commendable go-to concrete contractor. The company achieves great results even through unforeseen circumstances, which says a lot about its efficiency.
