You might also need to be a little understanding with regards to the receptionists. Walk-in patients as well as scheduled ones aren’t attended to at times because they’re busy responding to calls and online inquiries.

Overall, if you need an ENT specialist that’s good at what he does and easy to deal with, we recommend Dr. Nicholas Potter. If you have kids, his gentle, no-nonsense approach is perfect for you. 

Dr. James Earnshaw is extremely competent at what he does that he’s able to diagnose what other doctors aren’t able to. There are less common conditions, and his specializations in all areas of ears, nose, and throat allows him to see them.

Dr. Earnshaw’s very patient and thorough, especially during the initial diagnoses. He wants to make sure that every detail has been recorded so he can give a proper diagnosis and offer several options for treatments. 

One thing patients love about Dr. Earnshaw is how he always tries to cater to all his patients. Even though he’s an in-demand ENT specialist and is almost always fully booked, he tries to accommodate patients in his busy schedule. 

Dr. Earnshaw is a no-nonsense individual. He’ll let you know what’s wrong with you and what can be done about it so there’s no dilly-dallying. 

This makes him look a little unfriendly and a little still, which intimidates some patients. However, this is just his external aura because in reality, he’s a nice doctor who can be perfect for your kids as well. 

You might also need to double-check your schedule before coming to the clinic. Sometimes there’s a mixup in schedules and it takes a long time to fix it.

Dr. Ben Wallwork is the go-to ENT specialist for patients who need immediate care. He’s very straightforward with his approach and he’s always quick to act and administer treatment.

Dr. Wallwork doesn’t like making things complicated because it further delays what needs to be done. And as a patient, this is favorable to you because you’ll immediately receive the treatment that you need.

There are a lot of cases wherein patients who were misdiagnosed by previous ENT specialists go to him for consultation. He’s always quick to rectify the situation to prevent the patients’ conditions from worsening.

Dr. Wallwork is also the type to encourage his patients before any procedure or treatment. This is a really big help to patients who’re not very comfortable with hospitals.

The post-treatment care is also amazing! You’ll appreciate how he often checks up on his patients after a procedure to make sure they’re recovering well and nothing feels amiss.

What might irk you a little bit though is it’s difficult to book an appointment with the doctor so you just can’t go there without a schedule. Since he’s always almost fully booked, chances are he won’t be able to accommodate walk-in patients.

You might also encounter problems with parking since it’s a hospital so the paid parking available has a tendency to be full. Alternatively, there’s street parking available, however, it’s also very limited. 

Dr. David Bell-Allen is perfect for kids, and he’s usually parents’ first choice when their kids have ears, nose, or throat problems. Even his staff is trained on how to deal with kids during consultations and treatments, which make parents trust him.

For example, during procedures, kids usually panic and are unable to stay calm. The staff assisting will sing lullabies to calm them or tell them stories to distract them, which instantly causes the kids to feel at ease.

Dr. Bell-Allen is very warm and friendly, which is another thing the parents like about him. The easy rapport he builds with kids the moment they see them gives parents peace of mind that they’re in good hands.

The rooms are always clean and sanitized. In line with the post-pandemic effects, such hygiene protocols are appreciated.

There are a couple of things that might turn you off though, one of them the hospital parking. It’s difficult to find the parking, so as not to waste time, most of the patients look for alternative parking, which is very inconvenient.

Another one is, you might probably find it a little bothersome when you need to come back for the results of the tests, and still need to be scheduled. For us, better handling of patient bookings can still be improved.
