Fantastic animal hospital
Fantastic Animal Hospital! The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they take the stress out of pet injuries. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs surgery or anything major for their pet. They are 24/7 and also have a physio service twice a week.

They focus only on emergency and critical cases, so they’re open overnight, on weekends, and whenever urgent care is needed, no appointment required.
A neighbour of mine actually rushed her retriever there just after midnight, and she said the nurses were already doing an assessment right at the entrance, which helped calm things down quickly.
The team itself has decades of combined emergency experience, and they also work alongside specialist veterinarians in the same facility, which makes referrals a lot smoother if extra care is needed.
Just keep in mind that their initial pricing fees aren’t clear, so expect to see a different cost breakdown once you’re ready to leave the hospital.

After taking him to a different hospital and not feeling comfortable with their not so thorough assessment and sending him home prematurely with only pain meds, we brought him here and it was confirmed he’d been bitten by an animal, was in excruciating pain and had an infection. Set up exactly like a human hospital, but for pets
I had an unexpected need for my dog to be treated late Sunday evening. I have never been here before but the premise is set up exactly like a human hospital, but for pets. Quick service, caring staff and good treatment. Pleased with treatment price considering it was Sunday after 5pm. Thankfully my boy has a pulled muscle and not a break. They gave him pain relief which has helped.

Finding a clinic that handles both everyday pet care and full emergency support is pretty rare, but Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital manages to do both all year round.
It’s a privately owned hospital with an on-site lab, plus facilities that also cater to equine and farm animals. They cover everything from routine vaccinations to more complex surgeries, all in the one place.
I actually spoke with a local horse owner who really rated the leadership team, especially for how they handle tougher medical situations with calm experience.
Do take note, though, that overnight palliative care can get quite expensive.
There have also been a few community concerns around triage advice and moments where very anxious pets weren’t handled as smoothly during rushed situations.

First time I have attended this 24 hour vet hospital and was very impressed. Dr Mpho was professional, kind, very knowledgeable and reassuring during a stressful time. I am very grateful for this local out-of-hours service and can highly recommend them. Dr Mpho treated my older cocker spaniel with kindness and explained everything clearly Including the blood test results (and the bill was not bad as I thought either!). Worth every cent for the reassurance and care my dog received out-of-hours. My dog is much better today! Big thanks & great work.

Absolutely fantastic
Most vets find dealing with my Rottweiler, Bear, quite daunting – despite him being well behaved & non-aggressive. However, the team at Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital were absolutely fantastic. Bear was quite nervous during his visit for desexing, but they handled him with such care, patience, and professionalism. Bear also attended the clinic when he cut his paw. We were so impressed with how well they managed him both times and are incredibly grateful for the wonderful treatment he received. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

They have a full oncology setup, including both medical and radiation cancer treatments in one place. The clinic also uses advanced stereotactic radiation therapy, which helps target tumours more precisely while reducing side effects.
The facility is also thoughtfully designed, with cat-friendly spaces and separate waiting areas to help keep feline patients calmer during visits.
Unfortunately, this level of specialist care does come with higher treatment costs, which can be a lot for families to manage. Plus, the final bills can sometimes differ quite a bit from the initial estimates.

I have always been very happy with the service and the people
I have had my pets at this Veterinary hospital for emergency and specialist treatment over the past eight years.I have always been very happy with the service and the people. Recently one of my Giant Schnauzers has required surgery on his leg due to some cancerous cells. The results so far have been great but I am just in awe of the kindness, professional treatment and the establishment itself. It’s not the place where I like to see my pets but when circumstances dictate it is certainly comforting knowing they are there.
