We had a fantastic experience with the Ume Banquet for two, which included six delicious dishes that offered fantastic value. We also couldn’t resist ordering the Takoyaki, one of our favorites, and it did not disappoint!

The restaurant features a cozy and beautifully decorated ambiance—just the right balance, with ample space for big tables and double tables seating up to 12 in private rooms styled in the traditional Japanese manner.
The teppanyaki is excellent, with standout dishes including steak, scallops, and prawns. Our favorites were the scallops, prawns, and melt-in-your-mouth beef.
The playful experience of catching food is always a delight, and our chef was quite witty, making remarks like, “Beautiful, fresh, Japanese veggies, from Woollies!”
Pro tip: Our tip for a visit is to wear an outfit you don’t mind getting a little messy (food can get a bit chaotic), and consider bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise! |
