5 Best Sprinkler System Services in Brisbane That’ll Keep Your Lawns Green

  • Industry Experience and Credentials: We checked how long each business has been around and made sure they’ve got solid technical know-how.
  • Customisation and System Design: We looked at how well they tailor layouts instead of just using one-size-fits-all setups. A good design means better efficiency and more even water distribution across your property.
  • Component Quality and Technology: We reviewed the hardware and smart controllers they use to make sure everything is reliable. Better parts usually mean fewer leaks and lower maintenance costs down the track.
  • Post-Installation and Support Services: We also assessed what kind of ongoing support they offer after installation. Good after-sales service makes a big difference in keeping your system running smoothly long-term.

Keeping your lawn green under the intense Queensland sun can feel like a full-time job. Instead of dragging a leaky hose around every afternoon, investing in the best sprinkler system in Brisbane keeps your turf looking great without the constant hassle.

Whether you’re dealing with a small residential block or working with a professional landscaper to redesign a larger outdoor space, automation makes everything so much easier.

You can even connect your setup to a rainwater tank to help keep things eco-friendly and a bit kinder on the budget.

Finding a team with real industry experience can make a huge difference, and Irrigation Group Pty Ltd definitely leans on that with over 50 years of combined irrigation know-how.

They work across everything from small residential backyards to large commercial sites around South East Queensland. They’re used to handling a pretty wide range of setups.

This company is also big on custom-designed solutions that aim to minimise disruption to your existing landscape, so you’re not left with your whole yard torn up during installation.

Plus, they manage the full process from design right through to ongoing servicing, which keeps things pretty streamlined.

However, you might need a bit of patience at the start. Some customers have mentioned slower response times when waiting for quotes or trying to get post-installation support sorted.

Pros

  • Over 50 years of combined industry experience
  • Automatic above-ground and subsurface options
  • Tailored layouts for distinct site needs
  • Full service coverage across South East Queensland

Cons

  • Slow communication response times

Resolve a sprinkler system issue

Second time Irrigation Group have attended our property to resolve a sprinkler system issue. Bradley was on time and resolved the issue and tested the system prior to leaving. Good job Irrigation Group once again.

I highly recommend Irrigation Group. They were responsive, professional, and most importantly, there was no lengthy lead times. My new sprinkler system was installed within the morning, and with no disruption to my garden. Thank you!

2. Designer Watering Systems

Website: https://designerwatering.com.au/

Address: 14 Staple St, Seventeen Mile Rocks

Contact: 732 795 600

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Designer Watering Systems has been around since 1994 as a family-owned irrigation specialist.

They mainly stick to garden sprinkler kits and specific components rather than full landscaping work, which means you get a pretty wide range of complete packages and spare parts all in one place.

They’re also really helpful when it comes to planning, since they can guide you through mapping out watering zones and putting together a proper parts list before you buy anything.

Plus, having a showroom in the city is handy if you want to actually see the gear in person before committing.

Just keep in mind that it’s a fairly small operation run by one person, so customer service capacity is limited at times.

They also don’t really offer full design or installation services anymore. With that, beginners might need a bit of extra help to get everything set up properly.

Pros

  • Over 3 decades of specialised experience
  • Direct layout and zone design assistance
  • Has a physical local showroom in the city
  • Nationwide delivery for online orders

Cons

  • Lacks in-house technical design capacity
  • Limited manpower
  • No full installation services provided

3. Bob’s Irrigation Services – Irrigation Supply & Install

Website: https://bobsirrigationservices.com/

Address: 1/27 Kingtel Place, Geebung

Contact: 1300 040 449

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Bob’s Irrigation Services has built its name as a dedicated specialist with over 18 years in the industry. They handle everything from planning and supply through to installation and major repairs, so it’s a pretty end-to-end setup.

When I looked into one of their recent smart system installs, the cloud-based controls were honestly impressive to see in action.

They’re big on custom solutions, too, so instead of pushing standard packages, they design systems around your specific land layout.

Their advanced controllers even let you adjust schedules remotely and monitor rain or soil moisture in real time, helping cut down on water waste.

The only catch is that their focus is very much on full smart water-management systems. If you’re just after a simple pop-up sprinkler setup without all the tech extras, their approach might feel a bit more complex than you actually need.

Pros

  • Over 18 years of specialised business operation
  • Full supply, installation, and repair services
  • Advanced cloud-based smart controllers available
  • Comprehensive water management, like filtration

Cons

  • Focuses heavily on complex setups

Address: 1/34 Tradelink Road, Hillcrest

Contact: 738 003 177

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

If you’re after a proper end-to-end irrigation setup, Total Water Services covers everything from the first consultation right through to ongoing maintenance.

They use detailed CAD design to build custom systems that are aimed at maximising efficiency, all while staying fully compliant with Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) licensing.

Being part of the nationwide Irrigear network also means they’ve got access to a wide range of major brands and solid stock availability. They work across residential gardens, farms, and commercial sites, so they’re used to handling pretty varied setups.

They’re also strong when it comes to troubleshooting pump issues and doing water audits to fix inefficiencies in existing systems.

Unfortunately, working with more technical systems can sometimes lead to a bit of friction. Some clients have noted communication mix-ups around wiring specs, and others weren’t always clear on who handles hardware faults after installation.

Pros

  • End-to-end design and maintenance services
  • Custom engineered CAD design layouts
  • Part of the national Irrigear supply network
  • Licensed with the QBCC for compliance

Cons

  • Occasional communication errors on specs

Customer Reviews:

Knows his stuff

Andrew behind the counter has been there for as long as I can think of 10+ years. knows his stuff. and is able to solve any problem you have with only a pic and a vague description you give him. hard to find a knoleageble salesman these days.

We’ve had the pleasure of using Total Water Services for our supplies and honestly couldn’t fault them. Their products are always reliable and high quality, which makes a big difference for us on the job. They’re easy to deal with, quick to respond, and always get us what we need without any hassle. It’s good working with a supplier you can actually count on. Would definitely recommend Total Water Services 👍

  • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM

If you’ve already got an established garden and just need a proper watering upgrade without tearing everything apart, KC’s Irrigation Services Gold Coast is worth a look.

They’re a dedicated irrigation-only team with over 10 years of experience, so they stick to sprinkler installation, diagnostics, and upgrades rather than treating it as a side job.

One thing they’re really good at is retrofitting hidden irrigation lines into mature gardens without wrecking the existing layout.

They also offer free system checks and no-obligation quotes, making it easier to figure out what’s going wrong if you’ve got leaks or broken valves.

I like that their service area is pretty huge, stretching from the Sunshine Coast right down to northern New South Wales.

Do take note, though, that they do get booked out fairly often because of that wide coverage. Online enquiries can also take up to 2 business days to get a reply, so they’re not ideal if you need something fixed urgently.

Pros

  • Dedicated irrigation-only service focus
  • Over 10 years of professional industry experience
  • Specialised in retrofitting established gardens
  • Free system diagnosis and free quotes

Cons

  • Online response is quite slow
  • High client demand can delay urgent visits
