Gold Coast DJ Entertainment has been in the business for quite a few years so it’s already an expert in providing entertainment. We liked how organized and well prepared they were, ensuring that our event flowed seamlessly.

We’ll say one thing though: the DJ sure knows his music! We loved the curated playlist banging out our favorite hits and how he engaged the crowd.

We also loved that the DJ took in song requests from the guests. This hyped everyone up and helped them dance the night away.

Our only gripe is that there were times when the DJ didn’t follow the client-approved playlist during the event. If you hire these guys, you might want to remind them to do so.

Some clients we spoke to also mentioned that their DJ arrived late, which caused delays to their event. This is something to keep in mind, especially if you have a venue with a scheduled time.

Now, if for some reason, you have to cancel or reschedule your event, it’s easy to rebook with Gold Coast DJ Entertainment. Just let them know ahead of time so that you can work out the changes. 

We like that they’re easy to talk to and work with, so you should have no worries about setting up the music for your event. They respond quickly to queries and accommodate you as best they can.

Beat Connection offers several features aside from its DJ services, in fact it’s known for its special effects packages too! If you want the full experience, we highly recommend it.

We suggest getting the cloud effect because it creates this fairytale-like mist on the floor that makes you feel as if you’re dancing on clouds. Along with the cool music, this makes the event more special, plus—the effect looks great on photos!

We also love how the DJs engage with the guests. They have a wide range of music genres in their playlists, so they can cater to guests’ varied music tastes.

In fact, most repeat clients we’ve spoken to just let the company’s DJs prepare the playlists for them. But if you’re picky with your music (like we are), then you may want to choose your own songs.

In terms of pricing, Beat Connection’s quite flexible so you can find special packages that can fit your budget. We particularly like the company’s wedding and disco packages which have a combination of services like music, and special effects, among others.

Just a little heads up though – Beat Connection is always fully booked. You might have a hard time booking or rescheduling, so you might need to contact the company several months in advance to book a DJ or any of its other services.

G&M Event Group offers a range of services that you may want and need in your events. We’re talking about DJ and MC services, special effects, lighting and design, the whole enchilada!

But first, let’s talk about their booking process – it’s very easy to schedule with them because of how organized the staff are. Just tell them the details and they’ll prepare everything – all you have to do is review and approve!

We like that G&M Event Group has experienced DJs who have been in the business for a long time. Their choice of music and the way they hyped the crowd might exceed your expectations. However, this is the reason why they’re expensive, but hey–the splurge might be worth it!

Plus, you can also expect the DJs to go the extra mile for you, like dress appropriately for your event. In fact, you can ask them to wear costumes so they’ll blend well with the theme – no qualms whatsoever about following the dress code.

In terms of other features, G&M Event Group has really cool innovative lighting options, too. You can choose from its indoor fireworks, starlight dance floor, cloud effect, and lighting designs– whichever fits your theme best!

One last thing – in case the DJ cancels at the last minute, G&M Event Group immediately sends a replacement. We love how the company tries to give immediate solutions so last-minute issues like this won’t hinder the success of the event.

If you need a last-minute DJ for your event, Party People DJ’s might be your solution! They cater to late bookings and will easily supply you a DJ.

We love how easy it is to deal with them, too! They respond quickly to inquiries and you can always call or email if you have requests or questions.

What’s more, you can expect Party People DJs to be on time unlike other event organizers! They arrive an hour early to set up to make sure that everything from the sound side of things is done.

We’re impressed at the DJs extensive selection of music– they were able to play any request from the crowd. Whether it’s the top 40s or the golden oldies, these guys come prepared. 

They’re also great at working up the crowd and getting them to dance and enjoy the event!Just make sure you check with the DJ before the event starts because they forget to play the songs you requested sometimes.

However, we weren’t big fans of the fact that the DJ sometimes leaves the booth and just lets a preset playlist play. It’s probably best to remind them to stay in the booth at all times for your guests’ requests.

The best thing about PartySound is how the DJ assigned to you focuses only on you. So from the initial phone call or email until the end of the event – the DJ has your undivided attention. 

In fact, when you call to book their services, whoever you speak to first becomes your assigned DJ! 

We think this is awesome because having a single contact person makes the whole process so much smoother. This way, you can ensure that there’s minimal or no mixups at all! 

Another thing we love about PartySound is that it offers freebies even if you’re a new client. For your first booking, the setup, lighting, MC services and smoke machines are free! 

This is a great strategy to get new clients to come back for more! We know that we certainly would.

However, PartySound does have a reputation for being late to respond to inquires. You may need to follow-up a few times before getting a reply, which isn’t ideal when you’re chasing the clock for your event. 

Another thing to consider is that PartySound has a limited number of DJs. Since the DJs focus on one event each until it’s done, you might want to book several months prior to your event.
