Towards a Better Tomorrow: 5 Rehab Centres in Brisbane

  • Personalized treatments: The ideal rehab center in Brisbane should offer tailor-made treatments to make sure that everyone who enters can leave being the best version of themselves.
  • Professional staff:  Being away from home and a support system can be hard for others. The staff should be competent enough to make sure everyone can feel supported in their journey!
  • Location: Recovery becomes much faster in a quiet and private location. That’s why the ideal rehab center in Brisbane should be located somewhere relatively remote.
  • Ambiance: The environment plays a huge factor in a person’s recovery. Thus, the ideal rehab center in Brisbane should have a calming atmosphere to make sure that the healing process goes smoothly!
  • Price: Recovery shouldn’t just be for the rich - it should be open for everyone. Thus, the ideal rehab center in Brisbane should be affordable.

Hills and Ranges Private is a high-end rehab center in Brisbane that’s the ideal space to heal and recover thanks to their unique 5i Curriculum along with providing a more upscale atmosphere for healing.

The 5i Curriculum is a state-of-the-art healing method that’s unique to Hills and Ranges Private and utilizes the latest discoveries in mental health to derive the best healing method for their patients. They also use abstinence and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for a five-module system that can “effectively be applied to anyone’s life”.

This way of treatment can be applied to everyone who needs it the most, from individuals who need help dealing with addictions to families that are in tatters. They even use it for Individual Therapy sessions as well.

The only thing we don’t like as much with Hills and Ranges Private is the fact that they don’t take Private Hospital Covers, meaning that you’ll have to fork over more money than expected.

Hills and Ranges Private’s staff are always more than happy to help their clients out any time with what they need, and the way they handle people having a meltdown deserves praise. They always try to de-escalate without resorting to violence, which is nice.

Pros

  • Posh rehab centre
  • Individualized therapy sessions
  • Unique treatment method
  • Provides treatments for plenty of problems

Cons

  • Does not accept Private Hospital Cover

With three locations scattered throughout Australia, Lives Lived Well has served Australians for more than 12 years. That, and the fact that they provide an easy way out to healing makes them an ideal rehab centre for those who need it the most.

Lives Lived Well also prides itself in its ability to help anyone in need of it – whether they’re suffering from physiological or mental health problems, it can help you out. Live Lived Well can even stretch their giving hands to families who need therapy.

Speaking of therapy, Live Lived Well offers mental health programs as well. This makes them a two-for-one treatment center – it’s both a rehab and a psychiatric clinic, which makes it one of the more flexible rehab centers in Brisbane.

The only thing we don’t appreciate as much about Lives Well Lived is the fact that they don’t specify their prices on their website. You’ll need to either visit them or call them to find out how much it’ll cost to go there, which can be inconvenient for some.

But their website provides an easy way for you to contact them, which makes them a lot more convenient compared to other rehab centers in Brisbane. They also respond relatively quickly, even if it’s not that big of an emergency which is always a nice touch.

Pros

  • Offers help for everyone
  • Plenty of locations all over Australia
  • Mental health programs available
  • Easy contact forms

Cons

  • Lack of pricing on the website

What Hader Clinic Queensland does better compared to other rehab centers in Brisbane is the fact that they can help you, even if you’re in the comfort of your own home. This is because they have free resources that you can see available on their website.

These free guides are made for families – either to help with members suffering from addiction, interventions, or to help members of the family reconnect with one another. It’s not a lot, but they’re still helpful guides you can apply for those who need them.

Hader Clinic Queensland also offers an easy admission process for everyone, and they can admit within 24 hours in more severe cases. It will usually take somewhere 24 hours, but in an emergency, they can expedite it to 12 hours.

Hader Clinic Queensland’s prices can reach up to $11,000 for a simple 14-day detox. However, they accept a variety of major insurance brands which can help in financing. Depending on your insurance, you can even get a sizeable discount from them.

Hader Clinic Queensland can also help former soldiers with specialized treatments to help them acclimate back to their former lives. DVA card holders can also get admitted to their residential program free of charge.

Pros

  • Plenty of free guides are available
  • Accepts plenty of major insurance
  • Easy admission process
  • Immediate admission is possible

Cons

  • Can be a bit pricey

What we like best about the Banyans is that it looks and feels like a regular upscale vacation home, making it feel less like actual rehab. This can help people feel more comfortable during the journey to recovery.

This is because, unlike other rehab centres in Brisbane, The Banyans’ residents get to heal in their private centre in the rolling hills of Brisbane Hinterland. This ensures that patients can heal in private while being helped by their professionally trained staff.

The Banyans offer a more privatized healing process, which is necessary when the patient is volatile. Their admission process is relatively quick as well since they’ll check you in 24 hours after you contact them.

The Banyans’ prices are a lot more expensive compared to other rehab centers in Brisbane. The residential will cost $19,500 at the very least, which could make a lot of people think twice before coming here.

Pricey treatments aside though, The Banyans extend their help to plenty of people in need, ranging from drug problems to more serious mental health problems, which ensures that they can help everyone in their hour of need.

Pros

  • Upscale environment
  • Discreet location
  • Private rehab treatment center
  • Treated plenty of conditions

Cons

  • Pricey treatments

5. The Bay

The Bay is aptly named because this rehab center provides a scenic view of Byron Bay, From providing a 24-7 care system to providing help for everyone who needs help, The Bay is more than equipped to help out those in need.

And with 15 years of experience, you know that you or your loved one will be in very reliable hands. This means that they’ve seen their fair share of problems and are prepared for any situation that may come their way.

What we like best is that The Bay can assist with your trip to their facility, all the way to arranging all the flight details for you. This can certainly help ease the strain and can help mentally prepare the patient for rehab.

The only thing that we don’t appreciate as much with The Bay is the pricing for their residential programs. They don’t list it on their website, but some sleuthing on the internet shows that a week at The Bay will cost $45,000 per week – which is a lot.

The Bay can treat several types of addictions and mental health problems with tailor-made treatment plans. Some of their tried-and-tested methods even include Equine Therapy, which is great for those who have an affinity for horses.

Pros

  • Stunning view
  • 24-hour care
  • 15 years of experience
  • Personalized treatments

Cons

  • More expensive residential program
