  • Open to new homes and renovations
  • Guaranteed workmanship
  • Free, no-obligation quotation

  • Slow customer response
  • Questionable pricing structure

Even though not much is posted on JRM Plastering’s website, we took a gamble as we’ve heard some good things about their work. That we’re writing about this plasterer in Brisbane is proof that we weren’t disappointed!

We like that JRM Plastering is open not only to patching up residential homes but to doing the same for commercial spaces like offices and retail shops as well. It reveals a lot about their knowledge and skills as plasterers.

These guys are particularly known for being respectful of their customers’ time. As you might expect from that, they will arrive at your doorstep on time and finish the job as quickly as possible, without compromising the quality of their work.

In case their work fails to meet your standard, they will redo the work for free until you’re satisfied with the results. This is one of the great things about picking a fully insured plasterer in Brisbane.

All these don’t mean that JRM Plastering is a perfect choice, though. For one, any customer would appreciate a more detailed website because it’d be a huge help in their decision-making.

We also find that these guys can take quite some time in responding to queries, which can be a dealbreaker for some people. In our experience, we didn’t receive any response until the third day.

All in all, JRM is still a good option if you’re after quality, reliable plasterwork in Brisbane. The quality of their services definitely makes up for the slow customer service.

  • Friendly and professional staff
  • Comprehensive range of services
  • Fully licensed and insured
  • No-obligation quotation

  • Higher price point
  • Instances of failing to follow up to customers

Keen Plastering has grown into one of most trusted plasterers in Brisbane, catering to both residential and commercial spaces. These guys can do all forms of plasterwork, including repairs and installation.

As it’s a company that’s been around for almost 30 years, skills and experience are what you’d get from working with Keen Plastering. Ask any local for plasterer recommendations and you’ll hear their name come up a lot.

Our talks with their past customers showed how they go the extra mile to make sure that every client is satisfied with their work. They hire only trained and qualified tradesmen too.

The aftermath of plasterwork can leave any space a mess, so we appreciate that these guys take extra time to clean up after themselves before walking out of your door. This is always a plus in our books.

As an in-demand plasterer in Brisbane, Keen Plastering doesn’t offer the most budget-friendly services. You may sometimes even have to wait for a couple days to get an appointment.

Unless you mind paying for their quality, Keen Plastering would be an excellent option to patch your home or office up.

3. Floor to Roof

  • Competitive pricing
  • Covers all stages of plastering
  • Open to residential and commercial spaces

  • Customer service could be improved
  • Limited information posted on website

As implied by their name, Floor to Roof can patch anything up, starting from your roof all the way down to the floors. These guys are open to working on newly purchased homes and old properties in need of renovations.

Plasterwork is generally affordable depending on the extent of the job, but we appreciate that Floor to Roof offers huge discounts to seniors and retired customers. There aren’t a lot of plasterers in Brisbane that do this!

Besides their experience, Floor to Roof is well-known for their courteous and punctual team of tradesmen. From what we’ve seen, these guys will show up to your doorstep on time and clean up after themselves.

Another thing we appreciate is the fair and transparent quotation system. There are no surprise and hidden changes, so you’ll have an estimate of how much you’ll be paying right from the get-go.

Our only wish is that Floor to Roof would display a little bit more information on their website, so we don’t have to call them up or shoot them an email just to know their exact address.

It didn’t help that we only received a response after a few days, which can be a deal breaker if you need emergency plastering services.

4. CRA Construction

Services: renovation plastering and repairs, new builds, and extension plastering

  • High-quality workmanship
  • Affordable pricing
  • Open to new homes and renovations

  • Small manpower
  • Limited plastering services

CRA Constructions is a family-run construction company that services most of South East Queensland. Specialising in home renovations, these guys could do plastering, new builds, high-end renovations, and even tidy-ups.

Made up of a close-knit, small crew, every person in their team has different sets of specialties and skills. From what we’ve seen, only trained and experienced plasterers in Brisbane make it to their team.

Given their small manpower, CRA Constructions aren’t able to handle multiple projects at once. You might have to wait for a couple days or an entire week to get an appointment, which shouldn’t be a problem if you’re not in a rush.

Another thing we like about these guys is how they keep customers in the loop. Working with them, expect that you’ll receive comprehensive and timely updates from time to time.

CRA may be the plasterer in Brisbane to beat when it comes to customer service. We appreciated that someone was always available to answer our questions, even if it’s past working hours.

If you need other services beyond plastering, though, you might end up hiring another company. The range of their services fall short when compared to other construction companies in Brisbane.

5. Northbris Contracting

Services: new homes, renovations and small repairs, domestic and commercial, framing and partitions, suspended ceilings, ornamental plasterwork

  • 7-year warranty
  • Reliable customer service
  • Competitive pricing
  • Transparent quotation system

  • Deals with lots of clients
  • Might be difficult to secure an appointment

Trusted by domestic and commercial customers across Brisbane, Northbris Contracting comprises highly professional tradesmen with years of experience in all sorts of plasterwork.

We appreciate that these guys try to keep their services affordable and accessible to most people. Even though they’re undeniably in-demand, they don’t burden their customers with unnecessarily hefty fees.

There are lots of plasterers in Brisbane that have worked on a range of commercial projects, hospitals, government buildings, schools and universities, and shopping centres. This was what probably convinced us to hire these guys.

As with most plasterers in Brisbane, this is a fully licensed and insured company. We particular like that there’s a seven-year warranty on all their services, which is enough to give any customer peace of mind.

Since Northbris Contracting manages lots of clients, expect that there might be slight delay in response. In our experience, it was also quite difficult to secure an appointment that worked with our schedule.
