This is a great beginner-friendly service if you’re really clueless about how sprinkler systems work. They have a customer-centric approach that you can feel from the first call onwards. 

They’re also known for arriving promptly on scheduled times as well as messaging customers consistently for follow-ups after repair. That’s a level of professionalism and after-service care that most homeowners will appreciate.

One of the clients we talked to said that when one of his repaired sprinklers malfunctioned again, they were back the next day right after his message. Pair that sort of urgency with their reasonable pricing and you have a winning service.

The only downside we could glean from past customers was that they do sometimes take a little time to reply during communication.

This business has a lot of services on offer aside from sprinkler repair and maintenance. That can make them attractive to homeowners with a lot of home maintenance needs.

They do fast work but also have patient and honest workers. Why do I say honest? Because in cases where problems beyond their abilities arose, customers said they actually admitted to it and advised them to contact other companies.

This means they may not be the ideal choice if your sprinkler system’s issue is complex. At least you know they’ll tell you if it’s beyond their abilities, however.

Will go out of their way to help you

There are very few companies that will go out of their way to help you. And Grahame (owner) is just that – very professional and knowledgeable. I have bought spare parts and got my water pump fixed from him, and he will find the time to explain to me how things work. The company will also recommend and give excellent contacts if the job I wanted help on is something that they do not have the time to do anymore. Cannot recommend these guys enough

I cannot recommend these guys enough if you’re installing your own irrigation system. The attendant (sorry I didn’t ask you your name) took a good 45 mins to take me through every connection I needed to get the water from the tank, through the pump and into the garden. He laid it all out in order so I could photograph for reference and was full of helpful advice and patience answering my naive questions. I am now confident to assemble my jigsaw puzzle so thanks heaps.

These guys do a lot of things fast: replies, scheduling, and arrival. The general impression you actually get when talking to their clients is of a business that values your time, so that’s one of the things to like about them.

Their workers are also known for being quite friendly. They even keep in contact after repairs to ensure their work is holding up. Again, that’s the kind of aftercare most people would prefer.

Unfortunately, because they’re such a good company and among the top-level options, their services are a bit pricey. I probably wouldn’t recommend Bob’s Irrigation Services to everyone, more specifically those on a tight budget.

I am extremely happy with my new irrigation system installation! From the moment I booked the service, the process was seamless and easy. The admin staff were incredibly helpful and made sure all my questions were answered. Nathan, the installer, was simply amazing – his attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch. I especially want to commend Matt for his exceptional customer service. He was super responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was working perfectly. This is one option you may want to try if you want work done on your garden along with the sprinkler repair. They can do bush trimming, weeding, basic lawnwork, and a lot more.

One of the best things about them is that they also show up to a worksite organized. They always have a checklist, a team huddle, and equipment in concentrated areas. As for the quality of their work, it’s been described by everyone we talk to as excellent.

Their scheduling may give some people problems, however. They only do jobs in the day.

One of the best things about this option is how detailed their quoting is. It’s accurate with no hidden fees, and can even be adjusted to meet your budget if you let them know you’re on one.

Their approach is very solution-based, from inquiry to repairs. They’re also known as much for their neatness as their efficiency. You get repaired sprinklers with barely a trace of people having been on your lawn.

 They don’t have a large catalogue of services, though. They only do repairs or installation for sprinklers, and that’s it.
