We also think it would be useful to have their rates and pricing policy published on their website so that an estimate can be made on how much a move will cost. 

Lots of things go into a move: packing and unpacking, reorganizing, reconnecting utilities, and even rubbish disposals. If you’re looking for an all-around moving service, then Two Men And A Truck is the way to go. 

Another AFRA accredited member, Two Men And A Truck offers home, office, local, and interstate removals as well as storage services. They’re also available to make short-notice home removals, which is perfect for those who need to move unexpectedly. 

For each move, they offer a standard three-type insurance, upgradeable to a full insurance coverage. What we like about the company is that they dedicate a whole webpage to their insurance policy, clearly outlining the types of insurance they offer. 

Another thing we appreciate is that aside from reconnecting your utilities, they also offer to look for great deals around your new relocation site. This helps you get quality services at a good price. 

Although Two Men And A Truck offer a comprehensive moving service, plus a choice of insurance options, they don’t offer a variety of pricing options for their clients. It’s also not very clear how their pricing policy works.

We’d also like to see a list of interstate areas they can move to, so we’ll know if they can move us to our desired locations. 

What makes Hire A Mover stand out from the other moving companies in this list is that aside from their relocation services, they also specialize in renting out durable boxes. They even have a whole website dedicated to their premium packing materials.

Furthermore, Hire A Mover has by far the cleanest and most navigable website on our list. They detail the process of their services, pricing rates, and FAQs in a neat and intuitive manner, which makes it easy to find all the information you need for moving.

They also offer various pricing options for their office removals as well as different sets for their moving and packing service, which we greatly appreciate. 

Another thing that we noted is their availability. Hire A Mover’s services can be booked seven days a week and even on public holidays, making them a great choice for those who need to work during the weekdays. 

We did notice, however, that the times when you can book moves are limited to only two timeslots: one in the morning and in the afternoon, with specific times when the movers will arrive. However, they can be contacted for times that are outside of these.

Their moving services are also very limited, as they only offer local home and office relocations.

Moreover, they’re not accredited by AFRA and their insurance policy is not clearly outlined, which might make some of their potential clients a bit wary of how they might handle their belongings. 

If you’re worried about moving in the rain or suddenly have your moving company cancel on you, Brisbane Removalists will help you solve your problems. Not only will they move your stuff in bad weather, but they’re also available for last-minute moves. 

Aside from their house and office moves, they also offer services for unit and apartment relocations, single-item moves, internal moves, and packing services. And if you’re too tired to organize your stuff in your new place, they’ll help with that, too. 

Though some moving companies charge call-out fees—making their services cost a lot more—we appreciate that Brisbane Removalists do not. 

We’re a bit sad that they only offer hourly rates for their moving services, but we like that they publish their pricing rates on their website, allowing us to estimate how much we’ll pay them.  

Though Brisbane Removalists serve a vast area in and around Brisbane, they, unfortunately, do not offer services for moving interstate. 

We also noticed that even though they dedicate a webpage where their clients can see the timeslots they have to accommodate last-minute moves, they’re usually empty and not always updated.

They’re also not accredited by AFRA. They do, however, provide a comprehensive insurance policy, but they don’t outline what this insurance entails, making it a bit unclear how their clients’ belongings are protected.
