We think his team is also some of the best hairstylists in the industry since Luke has won accolades for his training and leadership. They’re all highly skilled technically and style-wise while bringing in a sense of individuality as well. 

From what we’ve seen, we like that their expertise and creativity are reflected in each service they offer. From simple haircuts to the most technical styling, they are dedicated to providing premium pampering to their clients.  

Their haircuts start at $75 – $225 for women and $55 – $140 for men. Given their level of experience, we think the price points are pretty reasonable. 

Meanwhile, their colouring starts at $110 – $200 and keratin smoothing treatment starts at $350. In addition, they also have hair care products available for purchase. 

What’s more is, if you like dog cuddles, then you will also love this salon because Luke’s dogs are always there to give you a warm welcome along with their friendly staff. We think this gives the salon a nice, homey vibe. 

The only downside that we saw is that they don’t have any fixed packages available. Just make sure to ask for a quotation first so you won’t get too surprised upon receiving the final bill.

Another thing that we appreciate is that customers can indulge in a delectable treat of cocktails and coffee or wine before their appointment. 

They also offer style cut and blow dry packages that start at $95 for short hair. While total hair colouring starts at $130. 

We think their price points are fairly affordable given the luxurious experience they offer. What’s more is, new clients also get a 50% discount as an introductory price. 

We highly recommend checking it out since they have this kind of offer to new customers. Who knows? This might just be your next go-to salon. 

In addition, Luppinos is a unisex hair salon, which is very convenient if you’re also looking for stylists for men’s hair. The staff are highly trained as well to handle different looks. 

However, when it comes to hair treatments, their services seem to be quite limited. But they do have some affordable hair enhancement packages that’s worth giving a shot. 

Our next pick is LALA Hair Studio, another salon that exudes luxury with a modern and upbeat vibe. They were voted as Brisbane’s Best Hair Stylist by Style Magazine for 2022, so we went to check them out. 

From the outside, you’d think you’d be entering a cosy little cottage home. But the vibe is totally different inside with its chic, modern aesthetic, which we think easily attracts the younger crowd. 

The owner, Leigh Marsh, opened the studio in 2013. Since then, they became well-known for their specialty in colours and hair transformations. 

For the past two decades, Leigh has been dedicated in perfecting her craft and at the same time, training and upskilling some of the best hairdressers in Brisbane. 

Her own team at LALA each have over 10 years of experience and we think you’d be sure that you’ll be in good hands. 

The studio offers fairly reasonable prices. Style cuts start at $95 for women and $55 for men. 

Prices also vary depending on the stylist you choose, but the difference is not that significant. Booking Leigh as your stylist would only cost you about $20, so we’d say, just go for it!

Meanwhile, colouring starts at $170 and balayage treatment starts at $210. If you’re looking to color your hair, we think this is one of the best places to go. 

But if you’re planning to book an appointment on a Saturday, take note that they’re open until 1pm only. 

Orb Hair & Beauty has been around since 1999 headed by Deborah Paton, a London-trained hairdresser. 

What we like about their salon is that they have a dedicated area for colour treatments, as well as private beauty rooms. We honestly think this is a nice touch as the shop would look more organized especially when bookings are full. 

When it comes to pricing, it varies depending on the stylist, but styling and blow-dry start from $89 – $179. They also do balayage which is priced at $149 – $250. 

Another thing that first-time guests would love is a free deluxe hair treatment that also includes a 20-minute scalp massage and hot towels in their massage chairs. This can be availed when you schedule a style cut or colour treatment.
