Dr Chu’s expertise as an oral surgeon is unmatched
Dr Chu is a phenomenal individual I will be recommending to everyone I meet. Dr Chu and his team took the time to clearly explain and go through procedure options & recovery time while also making sure every decision made along the way was my own. I have been chronically ill for the past 5 years & seen a lot of doctors but the high level of care, compassion and desire to help has been above and beyond what I could have expected. Dr Chu’s expertise as an oral surgeon is unmatched. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Chu…

I will definitely recommend Dr George Chu to everyone who requires oral surgery
…my sons had all four wisdom teeth removed with Dr Chu, and his post operative care is outstanding. He is the most approachable, down to earth, really nice, very experienced and not pretentious surgeon you will meet I am sure of it. Literally super. My sons say he’s a “top bloke” and they both healed very well post surgery. I made enquiries of the anaesthetist as well and Dr Chu was again very caring and understanding. If I could give a 10 star review I would.
I will definitely recommend Dr George Chu to everyone who requires oral surgery.

2. Brisbane OMS

Website: https://oralsurgery.com.au/
Address: Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre, 4/80 Hope Street
Contact: (07) 3844 4400 / [email protected] | Fax: (07) 3844 4401
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Hospital admissions for routine tooth extractions can lead to high theatre bills if you don’t have private hospital cover. Brisbane OMS offers an alternative, with two operating theatres at their rooms that support both local and general anaesthesia.
This setup gives uninsured patients a more affordable way to access general anaesthetic care without paying private hospital facility fees.
The surgical team holds fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), alongside specialist registrations.
Beyond routine extractions, they also handle advanced implant procedures, including sinus-lift surgery and guided tissue regeneration.
However, you can’t have general anaesthetic procedures on the same day as your initial consultation. You’ll need to plan for two separate visits, which takes extra time out of your week.

Always feared dentists terribly! Dr Alistair Reid changed that. Explains everything carefully, and he and his professional staff made tooth removal, bone grafts and implants seem like a walk in the park. Thank you for your exceptional care and expertise

I felt safe in their hands
…Dr Voltz is a wonderful surgeon, very open, very accommodating and supportive in your needs.
I mentioned I had a fear of needles and they put a cold ice pack on the area to numb it beforehand.
They gave me some happy gas before they put me under which helped calm what small nerves I had left.
Had the best experience having all four wisdom teeth removed by the team at oms. I felt safe in their hands.
Thank you again for your tender and gracious care!

They are as good as it gets
…He is skillful, sensitive, concerned and freely is available for after hour support by mobile. I have never had an infection and barely a scar to be seen including on front gums and teeth. He cares about the cosmetics as well as treating the problem.
To back him up he has an exceptional team, one of whom has been there since my first visit (and she is amazing). If you have any oral surgery, I cannot recommend Dr Chahoud and his team to anyone that would listen. They are as good as it gets.

Zeb’s skills as an Oral Surgeon are quite remarkable
… we proceeded with her surgery, knowing she was in the very best of care. Mum has now fully recovered from her surgery and is in fact happier and more sprightly than she was pre op, now that the infection has been cleared. Not even the slightest bruise on her mouth post surgery, truly remarkable at 97. We are so very grateful to Zeb for his advice, wisdoms and concerns for Mum. She felt so confident with him to undergo this procedure. Zeb’s skills as an Oral Surgeon are quite remarkable. Thanks also to Brie as part of Zeb’s team…

He also offers wisdom tooth removal and dental implants under local or general anaesthesia.
Patients can even access four consultation and hospital locations in Lutwyche, North Lakes, Springwood, and Ipswich, all with free parking.
A client we interviewed after their consultation at the Lutwyche rooms appreciated receiving itemised Australian Dental Association (ADA) and Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item numbers upfront.
These details helped them check their health insurance rebates before proceeding.
Unfortunately, complex procedures requiring general anaesthesia involve separate hospital arrangements and fees for the surgeon, anaesthetist, and hospital.

Their professionalism, skill, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful experience incredibly positive
…made me feel genuinely cared for as a patient. He also listened to my concerns regarding pain medication and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable.
My recovery has been far better than I expected. The worst pain I’ve experienced has only been around a 3/10, which is remarkable considering I had multiple wisdom teeth removed.
I highly recommend Dr. Cho and Lauren to anyone needing oral surgery. Their professionalism, skill, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful experience incredibly positive. Thank you both for making the whole process so easy. 😊
