  • Offers songwriting and composition classes
  • Instructor has a Doctorate in Music Composition

  • Caters more to advanced students
  • Doesn’t hold group classes

Andrea Vocaturo has been a music educator for over 16 years and has one of the best guitar lesson programs in Brisbane!

He has a Doctorate in Music Composition and a Masters in Jazz Performance, so we think you’ll be in pretty good hands.

It’s awesome that he offers lessons across different genres from pop, rock, to contemporary. He also has specialized classes in jazz and blues for more intermediate students.

We love that his guitar lessons can be customized according to your goals, musical preferences, and skill level. You can learn to play your favorite songs and master the techniques of your musical heroes.

You can also dip your toes into songwriting and composition and begin composing your own songs and develop your own unique songwriting style.

If you want to deepen your knowledge and hone your musical skills, then we think this is the perfect program for you.

Even though Andrea is open to teaching all skill levels, we think his classes are more for those who already know how to play the guitar but wish to learn advanced skills. We think this can definitely help if you’re in a band or if you’ve been writing your own songs.

His private lessons cost $70 for 45 minutes and $80 for 60 minutes. This seems a bit pricey but given his program offering and credentials, we think it’s reasonable enough.
