Our experience at Benga Box was truly exceptional. As a BYO party venue, it offers unique features that set it apart from any other option in Brisbane. The Refinery started with husband and wife Dan and Rach Myers in 2018 as owner-operators. In 2015, they planned their own wedding and had a tough time looking for a venue in Brisbane that had everything they wanted. After this experience, they decided to raise the industry standard and create the venues they envisioned, but now for others.

What was once a panel beater (space used for automotive repair) has been meticulously thought out and transformed into a stunning, versatile space. The duo uses top-notch restaurant food from The Refinery’s sister venue, Rogue Bistro, and has hired executive chefs for both places.

Now, the location is a dream wedding spot, featuring a spacious private garden and a chic indoor warehouse. With amenities like platforms, lounges, VJ bars, and cake stands, it can seamlessly host both weddings and receptions in one venue.

Cherbon Waters Equestrian Centre is a dreamy spot in Brisbane where you can bring your own drinks to your event. With its wide, grassy grounds, it’s great for beautiful photos and offers complete wedding services, even for Indian weddings.

You can have both your wedding and reception here too. The spot can fit up to 160 guests with round tables or up to 200 with rectangular ones. Your silk-lined marquee (big tent) can also be extended to cater to up to 320 guests with extra fees. Plus, this place has a lakeside gazebo and a stunning view of Reflection Cove, which lights up at night for a super romantic vibe.

Besides being a wedding venue, it’s also close to honeymoon hotspots like the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Byron Bay.

Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens has been providing outdoor wedding venues since 2012. It a 4-acre family-owned property with beautiful rainforest gardens, a wonderful waterfall, and a charming creek.

Since 2016, Amore Events has been offering cool event spaces just 5 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD. Its converted warehouse boasts high ceilings with concrete floors, fun street food menus, and tons of Instagrammable spots.

You can choose between two different areas for your event or rent the whole place for larger gatherings. For BYO events, there’s no minimum spend on food and drinks, but there is a cakeage fee. And if you prefer, you may bring your own decorations and set up the event however you want.

The company also provides a virtual tour showing the floor plan, courtyard, bar, and more for those who can’t visit in person.
