Pros
- Has extensive inventory of car parts
- Adjusts to the needs of customers
Cons
- Long waiting time for pickup of truck parts
- Doesn’t reply a lot to inquiries
We added Beenleigh Truck Parts to our list because of its wide range of truck parts. So any part your truck needs for its repair, the company most likely will have it!
According to customers who have been dealing with Beenleigh for a long time, the shop stocks all truck parts. It’s very rare that they don’t have stocks of said parts, so the repair usually doesn’t take a long time, which is what these customers are grateful for!
We also want to commend the technicians—they’re all well-trained with truck repairs so they know what they’re doing. They can easily identify the trucks’ issues and inform the clients about them including an estimate of the total cost and how long it might take!
We also want to give credit to the company for being flexible with their clients. It can accommodate changes in repair schedules and pickup time for truck parts—just inform a staff member in advance and he or she will take care of the rebooking.
Speaking of parts though, we just think it’s a bit inconvenient for customers to go to the shop to pick up the parts, and still have to wait long. We advise you to call in advance just to make sure they have them ready so you can just literally pick the parts up.
Another thing, don’t expect prompt replies to your inquiries. It takes the company a long time to respond. You might need to call instead—at least staff are answering phone calls!

Tools & Equipment | 4.5/5 |

Pros
- Accommodates emergency repairs
- Flexible pricing
Cons
- Charges for additional services
- Doesn’t repair all types of trucks
What we love about the guys at Progress Heavy Vehicle Repair is that they understand what emergency means. So even if they’re busy, one of them will immediately attend to your truck’s issues without any hesitation.
One customer we talked to told us he had a sudden problem with the clutch and was grateful to have found Progress Heavy on the way. One of the technicians immediately abandoned his work to attend to it—he fixed the problem in no time!
We really appreciate the attentiveness the technician showed because that move definitely prevented another road accident. We also notice that Progress seems to have spare parts on-hand that allows them to attend to cases like this—plus points from us!
Another thing we love is that you won’t have to worry about the rates. The company adjusts the repair costs based on your budget.
In relation to this though—be careful of extra charges. Make sure to tell them to inform you if they’re going to do repairs outside of the quote so you won’t be surprised by the additional costs!
One problem we can think of is that Progress doesn’t repair all types of trucks. You need to inquire with them first to make sure yours are under their list, or else you’ll just waste your time visiting the company.

Pros
- Friendly and experienced staff
- Finishes repairs earlier than promised
Cons
- Difficult to contact via phone
- Parts for repair sometimes arrive late
If efficiency is the name of the game, we think Quinn Truck Services has it mastered. It’s a family-owned company that values customers’ time, and that’s what makes it stand out for us.
According to some customers, Quinn Trucks always makes sure to attend to your truck’s repair issues. The technicians are always focused with their work and are obviously experienced in what they’re doing so the repairs are done on time!
There are problems with parts availability sometimes, but even with the delays, the company still pushes to meet the promised deadline. And the results of the repairs are top-notch–it doesn’t feel rushed at all.
We also want to credit the company for making sure the customers are informed about the status of the repairs or even the availability of parts. We appreciate this approach because it makes customers feel valued–no wonder the company has loyal customers!
The pricing is reasonable too–probably one of the cheapest truck repair rates in the area! Quinn Trucks makes sure your heavy vehicles will be fixed in no time, but at a rate you can afford.
We also think you’ll appreciate that the company accepts walk-ins. The staff will try to squeeze you in their technicians’ busy schedules as much as they can.
And this is a good thing because it’s sometimes difficult to arrange a schedule with them via phone. Either no one’s answering or it’s busy—a bit of an inconvenience most especially if you can’t stay too long trying to just call!

Customer Approach | 4.25/5 |
Pros
- Pros
- Methodical technicians
- Always meets the promised turnaround time
Cons
- Staff needs more training in dealing with walk-in customers
- Doesn’t call back about inquiries
When we asked regular customers what made them keep coming back to M. K. Equipment, they told us it’s because of the consistency of service. They’d been customers for a long time, and the top-notch servicing hasn’t waned a bit!
This makes the company trustworthy and reliable in the eyes of its customers. The company has been fixing and maintaining trucks for years, so the expertise has grown better overtime.
We also want to credit the technicians for this. They’re very hardworking and focus on what they’re doing, which usually ends up in finishing the repairs on time and customers being satisfied with what has been done to their trucks.
The company’s also very accommodating. Clients can just call and let the staff know they need their trucks fixed earlier than what was talked about, and they’ll try their best to adjust according to the clients’ needs.
Pricing is great too! No hidden charges or even additional costs post-service—we really admire the transparency and the honesty in dealings.
The only problems we notice about M. K. Equipment is related to communication. For one, some of the staff aren’t very warm to walk-in customers; and two, customers sometimes don’t get callbacks regarding their inquiries.
We’re just glad that these are minor things that can be improved overtime, and M. K. Equipment is open to feedback and suggestions. We love that the company really understands how customer communication is very important to any business’ success.

Pros
- Attentive staff
- Fast diagnosis of truck issues
Cons
- Pricey repair
- Limited repair services
In terms of general truck maintenance, we recommend Total Fleet Maintenance. The company can do basic repair services and maintenance services, and it does them well!
However, that might be one of the things some customers might find inconvenient—the limited number of repair services. If your truck needs more complicated repairs, Total Fleet might not be the best one to go to.
Still, the company makes up for this deficiency through the quality of its services. Their technicians are very hardworking and they check your trucks well to make sure they’re in good condition, and then do repairs as needed.
In addition to this, some customers told us about how they admire the expertise of said technicians. According to them, the guys would immediately know what’s wrong with the trucks during diagnosis, hence they could fix what needs to be fixed on time!
We also like to acknowledge how the staff deal with the customers, whether face-to-face or via phone. They’re very attentive and immediately attend to their needs, answering their inquiries or immediately booking them with a technician.
Just giving you a heads-up regarding the price though! Total Fleet isn’t exactly a budget-friendly truck repair company, so you might need to spend more than your intended budget if you avail its services.
