The first room that I wanted to start with was the part of the house where most guests stay: my beloved living room. After all, I’d want that room to look like it actually gives life to people. Ben’s Curtains was the first company I contacted for that matter.

I looked at their website and gave them a call, and I was impressed with the wide variety of products that they offer! They had everything, from curtains, sheers, blinds, and shutters. It got to the point that even I didn’t know what to get!

However, it was fortunate that they had such nice staff over the phone and in their showroom. When I told them that I had no idea what I wanted, they were quick to listen and gave recommendations! They considered both their taste and the vibe of my house.

After some discussions, I went for some sheers because I wanted to have natural light enter the living room. Because it isn’t really a “living” room if it’s so dark, right? They gave me a timeframe beforehand and the installers were fast with their job!

Not only that, but the staff gave me a few calls and messages after my purchase and the installation process. They asked some questions like if I was satisfied and if I needed anything else. I appreciated that because it showed their care and passion!

The bonus, though, was that their rates are cheaper than other firms! Although throughout the entire process, I highly suggest that they improve on their communication skills and have more prompt deliveries.

I had problems with both areas. If they find a way to fix that, then I’m fairly certain that they’ll have more curious and loyal customers in the future!

When it comes to my bedroom, I want some privacy and the option to have dim lighting. I’m the kind of person who sleeps better when the room is dark anyway. I was recommended Shutterup Blinds and Shutters and I immediately messaged them!

First off, they give out free consultations! Anything that saves me money is a plus on my end, so what a way to break some speculations.

I also noticed that the staff who assisted me were very customer-centered! They refused to step beyond any boundaries. In other words, they wanted me to know what I wanted. I liked that they were very patient when it came to my decision-making.

Not only that, but those same people were very cheerful and polite whenever we spoke. It’s as if they were very excited to help me out. Additionally, the staff gave me timely updates about my order, the final schedule, and the installation date. All steps!

I chose to have custom Roman Blinds installed, and I highly recommend it for the quality and efficient installation. My room looked better than ever! No more plain curtains that allow me to see through the window during nighttime (I get scared, okay).

Although one thing that really bugged former customers whom I talked to was that the company can have some lapses when it comes to communication. Maybe they’ve improved it, considering my experience, but I really hope they stay consistent with it!

Rare pleasant experience in the world of home improvement

I never leave reviews, but just had to leave feedback in this case. We couldn’t recommend this company more highly. Every person we dealt with went above and beyond to ensure a seamless process from start to finish. We got exactly what we ordered, exactly when they said we would, and we were thrilled with the look and quality of our outdoor shutters in a tricky old, crooked house. Nothing but praise for this local company

I have nothing but praise for this local company.  They have a quality product and great team. Dan was very obliging and patient, he visited us a couple of times and met us at the showroom to take us through all the options.  Andrea in the back office was very efficient in answering our queries in terms of product delivery.  Joey did a great job with the installation, keeping cheerful and polite even after we delayed his start. When I went outside of my newly-furnished room, I noticed that the hallway also had windows that needed treatment. However, I wanted to go for roller blinds to save some money. All I needed was a simple one anyway, so I contacted Blinds N Curtains for it.

The first reason why I chose them was that they also gave out free quotes. What really made me stay, though, was how their staff spoke to me. They were very much willing to give me professional advice on their products based on the “theme” of my home.

They went above and beyond with conversing despite my questions only being about roller blinds! If that doesn’t show their passion, I don’t know what will. Also, I noticed that their product materials were of high quality. They did say that they’ll last for 10 years!

Moreover, I have to commend their installation process. The company was on-the-dot while the workers also gave out advice. They really made me feel like customer royalty, and I appreciated that. All of those things were for a reasonable price too!

The downside, though, was that their website lacked product pictures when I was browsing through their catalogue. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that there is limited customizability since they’re a very straightforward business.

Apart from those, though, I would highly recommend them for anyone on a budget. Besides, who’d deny free quotes alongside professional advice and high quality materials?

Up next to get a treatment were my bathroom windows. Of course, I need blinds for added privacy, but at the same time, I’d like to match my ideal vibe for a bath: dim lighting where I can relax. Studio Blinds Australia sounded like a company that can help!

From the get-go, I was already blown away by their excellent customer service! I really liked how they go about conversing with their clients– professional, quick, and respectful. They also had an organized website which really helped me with my queries.

Will be using Studio Blinds Australia again

This is our second time using Studio Blinds Australia and that is for very good reasons. Bruno is friendly whilst being professional and his experience absolutely shines through. I hang around my kitchen a lot, so I wanted the best treatment for the windows over there. However, I figured that my previous options lacked customization. So, after thoroughly choosing among options available, I went for Custom Window Furnishings.

This was another business that provided free quotes, but it was their custom-made products that really attracted my attention. I wanted my own color and style instead of merely picking out an option from their catalogue. And I got exactly that!

I was satisfied with how they handled the communication part of the service. They were very friendly and prompt– so friendly, in fact, that they were relaxed throughout the entire thing! I never felt any pressure because they were both curious and patient.

Additionally, I found their prices to be competitive, which is always a huge plus for me. The catch? Unlike other businesses, these guys were proud of their 5-year warranty! It gave me a feeling of safety, especially during and after the quick installation.

My kitchen looked even more spiced up, especially since the custom blinds that I chose matched my granite countertop. I highly recommend the business for anyone who wants customized products instead of already available ones!

The disappointing part of it all, though, is their limited product variety. Yes, they have customized items, but only for curtains, blinds, and shutters. They lack options for subtypes of those items.

I hope they widen their catalogue as soon as possible because that’ll give customers like me an even better experience with a unique and fully-personalized output.
