Pros
- Recommends alternative places to visit
- Accommodates sudden trip bookings
Cons
- Troublesome refund process
- Misleading “free” vouchers
If you want a quick vacation and stay local, Happy Travels is the perfect agency to visit. Australia has a lot to offer not only to tourists but also to locals, and the agency’s travel packages are good proof of that.
We also think it’s an advantage that their agents are really always willing to help. They’re very attentive to their clients’ needs and present a lot of options for them to try if they’re hesitant to do other activities.
Some of the clients we’ve had a chat with told us that they recommend Happy Travels to backpackers or solo travellers. The agents know everything, so they always have a list perfect for those who don’t have fixed schedules or places to visit.
What we don’t like though are the misleading free vouchers. There are some which are actually free, but some vouchers require you to purchase a package before you can avail them—so make sure you clear this up before booking anything.
We’re also not too fond of Happy Travels’ troublesome refund process. It takes a really long time to get the deposit back, as well as several paperwork—that’s not something we all have patience for.
But other than those, in terms of local packages and assistance, Happy Travels is a good agency to check out. They have some of the best travel managers and really good recommendations for places to visit or alternative activities!
2. Fashion Tour

Pros
- Accommodates last-minute changes on itineraries
- Offers a lot of great and affordable deals
Cons
- No online appointments
- Website doesn’t have language options
Fashion Tour’s focus is on Australia and New Zealand tours—the agency doesn’t offer international trip packages. The agency’s on our list because of that reason—it’s an agency for those who love to see the beauty of Australia!
Oh we think you’ll definitely love the deals! Fashion Tour offers several affordable tour packages around Australia inclusive of everything so you don’t need to plan or research—just bring yourselves on the day of the tour.
According to some clients we’ve talked to, the agents at Fashion Tour are very helpful. If you want last-minute adjustments on your itineraries, the agency will try its best to do it for you.
The agents don’t hesitate to make last-minute calls to confirm availability or get tickets for your last-minute requests. We love how they work hard to ensure client satisfaction—definitely a ticket for a good review and recommendation!
Just a couple of inconveniences that we’ve noticed—no online appointments and the website. You can reach them through a call, but visiting’s more advisable since the line’s always busy.
And then there’s the website. We’re a little bothered that there are no language options so it’s all in Chinese—it can’t also be translated or copy-pasted, so the website’s basically of no use to non-Chinese speakers.
3. Pulse Travel & Pulse Corporate

Reviews | 4/5 |
Travel Packages | 4.25/5 |

Pros
- Good flight deals
- Customer service is available 24/7
Cons
- Slow planning of tours
- Might not accommodate walk-ins
Pulse Travel & Pulse Corporate is known for its personalised travel itineraries. If you’re the type to combine several adventures in one trip, this agency’s perfect for you!
We love how the agency can organise even the most fully packed schedule into something doable. Pulse Travel’s agents are very efficient and very resourceful—they can plan things ahead and accommodate changes when needed!
In fact, we had a small chat with some of the agency’s previous clients, and they agreed on one thing—the agents are always quick to act. A lot of them experienced cancelled flights due to unforeseen events, but the agents always managed to rebook them fast!
This is the reason why they kept recommending Pulse Travel to friends and relatives. They appreciated the agency’s 24/7 customer service that’s very easy to contact whenever they needed help.
In addition to that, we also noticed another laudable quality of the agents—they’re very patient and very polite. A lot of customers really don’t know how to plan for their travels, but the travel agents answer every question and inquiry thoroughly.
There are just a couple of things that we didn’t like—Pulse Travel’s a little slow in planning so you might want to consult months before your trip. And second, make sure you have an appointment because the agency might not accommodate walk-ins.

Pros
- Upfront rates (so surprise extra charges)
- No hard-selling of packages
Cons
- Line’s always busy due to the onslaught of travellers
- Late callbacks due to large volume of calls
If you ask us what we love most about Brisbane Travel Centre—it’s the upfront pricing. Budgeting for travels is tricky, but the agency diminishes that worry and gives you the full cost so you won’t be caught off-guard by extra charges.
In addition to that, we love that the agents aren’t hard-selling packages because let’s admit it, we don’t appreciate things being shoved in our faces. According to previous clients, they loved how the agents solely focused on what they wanted, nothing else.
The agents will ask where you want to go, including the things you want to accomplish. If you don’t have any idea about what activities you can do, they’ll make recommendations and explain the details to you for consideration.
Another thing—the travel agents at Brisbane Travel are very hands-on. They plan everything with you, but they’re the ones who take care of the nitty gritty like the schedule arrangement, transportation, and transfers among others.
As clients, we love it if things are made easier for us. We really don’t mind paying for a good service that allows us to maximise our travel experience.
Just a little reminder though—during peak travel weeks, mostly during the start of the new season—the line is always busy. It can really get a bit inconvenient, but you need to keep calling to connect.
This is usually due to the large onslaught of travellers. Brisbane Travel seems to be everyone’s go-to travel agency—a definite sign that its services are worth checking out!

Pros
- Extensive local and international packages
- Quick and efficient refund process
Cons
- Some staff need improvement in dealing with client calls
- Late replies to emails
When it comes to travel packages, Digital Travel Pty Ltd is on the top of its game! We love how extensive their local and international packages are—there are so many great deals you can choose from.
The best thing about it is, if your preferred destination isn’t on the list, the agency can still curate a package for you. This takes away the stress of research and planning so you can just enjoy preparing what you need to bring on your vacation.
Another thing we love about Digital Travel is its website. First, it has language options so you can browse the site in a language you’re comfortable with, and second; the website’s very comprehensive so all the information you might be looking for is there!
In terms of rates, Digital Travel has packages that cater to every type of budget so you have a lot of options. And just in case you have an emergency and can’t proceed with the trip, the agency has an easy refund process so you won’t be hassled.
According to clients we’re able to chat with, they loved that Digital Travel’s very organised in terms of travel details. However, some of its staff need more training in customer communication as some customers get turned off by how they talk to them.
Another thing— we think Digital Travel should probably improve its response process to emails. As customers, we’ll prefer it if we get immediate replies since travelling involves a lot of planning on our part, so we want to get all the information as soon as possible.
