While Built by Thomas delivers a high-quality product, their emphasis on design-forward finishes can sometimes extend timelines slightly compared to builders who prioritize speed. 

I like JDL Construction’s balance between efficiency and attention to detail. From the first site meeting, they demonstrated a clear understanding of the project scope and adhered to a realistic timeline. 

Their workmanship was a standout. The build I entrusted them required both precision and aesthetic, and they managed to deliver on both. The finishes were sharp and consistent, especially in high-end home renovations.

JDL was also collaborative and easy to work with. They welcomed my input, offered professional advice. For instance, they have in-house designers and estimators who work closely with clients.

Communication was also reliable. I never felt out of the loop, and whenever adjustments were needed, they explained options without delays. 

Knowing they conduct weekly onsite meetings and provide online access to the construction schedule made it easy to track progress.

JDL’s methodical style, while reassuring, sometimes meant progress felt more deliberate compared to other builders who push for speed. Pricing also leans toward mid-to-high, depending on the project scope.
