When I was browsing for options and saw Big Truck Rubbish Removal, it was an eyebrow-raiser that they offer a discount for first-time bookers. $40 off is huge, and if you know me, any dollar saved is a luxury! I gave them a call with the intention to hire.

I expected them to schedule me within the week, but surprisingly, they said they offer same-day collections. I was amazed with the urgency. It didn’t come with any obligation quotes either! Truly a money-saver, but the service quality was still in question.

When the workers arrived to pick some of my garage junk up, they were very quick to load everything onto the truck without question. They were chatty, even boasting their eco-friendly methods after the collection. They said they recycle about 70% of the trash!

I don’t know about you, but if the business saves me money, is quick, great at communicating, and cares about the environment, that’s already a no-brainer. Big Truck Rubbish Removal is open 24 hours too! That’s another plus to help your decision.

However, I must mention that their quickness had some flaws to it. My place wasn’t 100% cleaned up. They missed a few spots and small pieces, which led to my disappointment and further cleaning. I just hope there was more efficiency than speed.

Great to work with

Yoti and the boys were great to work with. They went above and beyond to help us during a very difficult time and on very short notice. We needed to empty my mother-in-laws rental after her passing and only had a couple of days to do so. Yoti was amazing fitting us in. Communication was outstanding, with us being constantly informed on how far they were and their eta. The boys were extremely polite, professional and got the job done quickly and respectfully under the circumstances. Overall we received excellent service at a very affordable cost. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Would use for any other removal

They were incredibly punctual, and professional. Had a large 50s style chest of drawers that was literally coming apart, and finally decided to get rid of it. I called that morning and they took it away by the afternoon. Would highly recommend, value for money, and would use for any other removal.

The Rubbish Removal Guys are another firm I found while browsing through the web. I found their name interesting, and it turns out, they’re just a small team that’s ready to do big jobs. I was intrigued after viewing their website, so I made a booking.

First off, the booking process was so smooth because they were responsive. They gave me a two-hour arrival window, and they showed up at my doorstep within that time frame! I had them clear the attic full of old appliances that became the spiders’ houses.

They took their time, and they were polite whenever they asked me questions. I found it reassuring that they kept making sure that I really wanted something disposed of. Because of that, I was certain that I didn’t throw anything away by accident.

I haven’t even mentioned that on their website, I saw that they have a clear pricing table. They measure everything by weight, item type, and the vehicle they need to bring. Very efficient considering they’re a small business! I felt free when it came to options.

Moreover, through my conversations with the workers, I was told that they recycle most of the materials they collect because they have an eco-friendly purpose. Once again, I was amazed with how these people care about the environment.

Unfortunately, while browsing through some reviews, I saw some people complain about the Rubbish Removal Guys’ arrival time. Their given frame was sometimes inaccurate which led to disappointments. Perhaps they can give a wider one next time?

The service they provide is wonderful the way they completed the job they were friendly professional all round excellent to deal with on the phone and in person I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for professional services on time completed what they said they would even when I asked them to do more it was not a problem again I recommend their services most of all the price was great.

I have to admit, the name 1800-GOT-JUNK? was what really pushed me to avail of their service in the first place. Because let’s face it, who names their business that? I assumed they could get the job done regardless, so I made a booking.

In less than an hour after I called to clear the basement rubbish, they immediately arrived. It’s as if they were just waiting for me to contact them! After I told them what I needed them to do, two workers performed quick disposals.

They told me they’re licensed and insured, so that gave me a sense of security that I’m working with professionals! And, despite being only a tag team, I was impressed with how efficiently they did the task. After just a couple of hours, my basement looked new!

Not only that, but they cleaned up afterward and offered me a discount for the next bookings. That’s one way to keep a customer satisfied and loyal! It really made me think about calling them again in case I needed another service.

However, I must admit that I found it difficult to trust them because there was no pricing information on their website. And when the final cost came, I understood why they offer discounts. Definitely not for the money-savers, but they’re good at what they do!

Expectations were exceeded

Wasn’t sure what to expect but expectations were exceeded. Got to hand it to Marco, Amyes and Paul they were efficient, customer focused and nothing was too hard for them. A pleasant surprise. Couldn’t believe the service received when contacted the same day. Will use again in future.

Of course, general cleaning includes the backyard too, and I wanted some old greens removed plus lots of stuff from the shack. It took me a while to find a business who offers green waste removal, but Jeff might just be the answer!

Above anything else, I’d like to mention their pricing. They were transparent with it and they’re actually cheaper than the usual disposal service! That alone pushed me even more to consider booking them.

When it comes to the garden, I find it very difficult to tend to it with the recent weather. However, Jeff left no waste behind and actually offered to take everything with him instead of using the bins outside!

I noticed that he was also very careful when it came to my fences and plants, ensuring that he only got what wasn’t needed. He was a very friendly worker who was more than willing to help. Plus, the pricing comes from the weight of the waste, not by the hour.

When Jeff was done, we kept talking about his business and he even gave me tips to help maintain my garden– to avoid that amount of waste so I don’t have to call him again in the near future. I appreciate his honesty and admire his passion in his job!

Then again, all good businesses have flaws. If there was one for this, it’s that the job took a bit longer than expected. Granted, it’s only a one-man team, so it’s given. Still, if you want a fast procedure, you might want to look elsewhere.

Worked a real miracle

We cleaned up our back garden as it hadn’t been cleared for a number of years. There was substantial green waste. Jeff was referred to us by a close friend and the service was outstanding. Jeff took all the waste away and worked a real miracle. I will definitely be using his services again in the future and recommend him to anyone.

1300 Rubbish Removal was another disposal service I booked, but this time, it was for the living room. It’s a huge task, but after considering that they have businesses around the country, I figured that they’re the right people for it.

The booking was really smooth despite the service not being a same-day one. It’s better to be sure and ready than rushed, right? Still, they arrived the day after around the time they told me they’d be here.

The staff were respectful and they treated me like their coach. They were just ready to work without any hesitations or questions– all orders came from me. Apart from that, they were also professional and efficient, especially with the large items.

I found their methods to be extremely time-sensitive as if they had a schedule to follow in mind. However, what’s most impressive about them was their clear packages. I availed their medium package– ½ truck load with two workers for an hour. Worth it!

The downside, though? Despite being very responsive, the audio over the phone needs some work. I don’t know if it was a signal or a device issue, but having better audio quality will definitely help with clearer communication for the next customers!

I can’t speak highly enough about them

I cannot rate 1300 Rubbish highly enough.  Brad and Jack worked so hard and so diligently, in the Qld summer heat, all day long, up and down stairs in a walk-up unit block, and got the job done. At all times they maintained a positive attitude. They were very professional and very careful. The job was a big one and they stuck to their quoted price.  This company is very impressive. Ask for Brad and Jack for your job. Trustworthy, friendly, professional, and they know what they’re doing. Honestly, I can’t speak highly enough about them.
