Pros

  • 24-hour access & security
  • Gaming rooms onsite
  • Pet-friendly

Cons

  • Instances of intermittent Wi-Fi connection
  • Fees are slightly higher than its counterparts

Christie Spaces is one of the top coworking spaces in Brisbane that offers flexible office spaces, conference rooms, and enterprise offices.

It’s great that their office can be accessed any time of the day, perfect for people who prefer working during the night, as well as employees in graveyard shifts.

What we love about them is that they offer a wide range of amenities – from security to cleaning services. This tells us that we don’t have to worry about external factors, so we can focus more on our work.

We’re even impressed that the company can assign an IT team, which can help assist in any network and technical configurations we may require.

Most work would require a decent Wi-Fi speed to stay connected and perform office tasks. Hence, we appreciate that Christie Spaces already has a Wi-Fi connection onsite.

However, we encountered some instances of intermittent connection during our stay. We suggest having a backup data connection in case the Wi-Fi connection persists longer than expected.

On a lighter note, those who would want to bring their fur buddies to work will be delighted to know that Christie Spaces is a pet-friendly work space.

We appreciate how they promote work productivity by creating flexible spaces with upgraded facilities. On top of that, the company also has gaming rooms onsite, helping workers to get a good amount of rest in between work.

Businesses can also take advantage of some work inclusions, which include on-site parking assistance by the company’s leasing managers.

Members can also enjoy their exclusive access to the Christie Spaces app, which is conveniently useful as clients remotely navigate through the company’s amenities, such as reserving lounge and meeting rooms.

Pros

  • Rated with WELL Health-Safety
  • Good variety of coworking spaces
  • Provides catering services and in-house cafe

Cons

  • Walk-in bookings can be quite a challenge
  • Fees are a bit premium

Since Hub Australia started in 2011, the company has been known to offer a variety of coworking spaces that will fit all kinds of work.

From intimate meetings to a collaborative team alignment, we’re glad that Hub Australia has complete facilities to host our coworking needs.

What we love about them is that they even have a small room for two people, meant for those who prefer a more quiet work space. We’re even impressed that we can use it for intimate meetings or even interviews.

Those who would want to host product launches and workshops can also opt for the company’s rooftop provision. With its overlooking view of the city, we think that this is one of the highlighted coworking spaces of the company.

We also appreciate how Hub Australia thought of rewarding their members with a comprehensive plan, which comes with some irresistible hooks.

Aside from the exclusive discounts that come with their outstanding membership scope, we love that we can enjoy exceptional amenities, such as fitness rooms and media studios.

However, it’s worth noting that walk-in appointments can get quite challenging. Hence, we suggest calling Hub to secure a booking, just to ensure a trip to the office won’t get wasted.

Another great thing about working at Hub is that they have catering packages, which is deemed useful for client meetings or any brand socials. This tells us that we can focus on the more important tasks, while they help us handle our food provision.

On the other hand, we like that the company is the first coworking space in Brisbane to be awarded with the WELL Health-Safety rating. This tells us that the company has the best practices for safety, including maintenance protocols and emergency plans.

Overall, though they offer slightly higher rates than their counterparts, we still think that Hub Australia is definitely worth a try.

Pros

  • Easy booking process online
  • Good location
  • Nearby coffee shops and pubs
  • 24/7 member access

Cons

  • Limited work rooms
  • Not suitable for collaborative training or meetings

Another company that deserves a spot on our list of the best coworking spaces around the city is Studio 42 Workspaces.

What we love about them is that they are strategically located near the city. Even better, there are local coffee spots and breweries around the area, which makes Studio 42 a great choice for business networking.

Those who opt for a public commute need not worry as there are bus stops near the location, too. Meanwhile, car parks are also available in the area.

We love that we were able to book car parks on their website, which definitely provides a seamless and hassle-free experience for us.

Speaking of booking, we like how we can quickly book conference rooms and work lounges on the company’s site. Seeing the available dates and time slots is a big help in fixing our internal schedule as well.

Comprehensive plans and price packages can be seen on the website, too. We love how they indicated the full inclusions in each plan, helping us decide on what will fit the bill.

However, compared to its counterparts, Studio 42 Workspaces has limited work areas and lounges. It may be more beneficial to book ahead of time to secure a slot.

Collaborative training, alignment, and meetings can also be quite challenging with the company’s coworking provision. If this is non-negotiable, then Studio 42 Workspaces may not be the best choice.

Pros

  • Breakout zones are available
  • Shower areas are available
  • Has an event space
  • Great storage provision
  • Daily, weekly, and month passes

Cons

  • Slightly noisy environment
  • Office layout is too open

Joining our list of the top coworking spaces in Brisbane is The Cove. What we love about them is that they have a good open space for coworking spaces.

Though their bespoke open plan layout may seem perfect for all kinds of work, we love how it keeps us connected with the entire working community.

Nonetheless, The Cove still provides a number of office suites, perfect for those who prefer a more serene and private space. However, these rooms can only accommodate up to a group of four.

Those who are stuck with longer meetings or breakout sessions can enjoy the company’s amenities – perfect for a quick break. Aside from the coffee area and fitness wellness rooms, we like that showers are also available – complete with towel service!

Another great thing we like about The Cove is that they have great storage provisions. Because of this, we don’t have to bring a lot of our work things every time we go to the coworking space.

We also commend the team for putting up an event space, which is perfect for workshops, and even product or brand activations. Even better, The Cove has a designated event team that can help organise any event.

On the other hand, members can enjoy amazing perks, such as an exclusive car-sharing provision. Those who will be bringing their own cars won’t have a hard time securing a spot at their underground car park.

Bike racks are also available in the area, so those who would like to travel with their bicycles can get more peace of mind that their wheels will be safe and secure once they are in The Cove.

Pros

  • Mail and concierge services
  • Pet-friendly
  • WOTSO passport to access all locations

Cons

  • Limited on-site parking
  • Phone lines can get quite busy

What we love about the WOTSO coworking space is that they have a great location, friendly to both commuters and drivers. No need to worry about long walks after work, as there are nearby bus stops and train stations.

However, though the company has a designated car park, there is limited availability of their on-site parking. Hence, booking in advance may be recommended.

WOTSO members are also given a privilege to access other WOTSO coworking locations in the country – with no extra cost. We think that this is an irresistible hook, especially nowadays that more people would like to travel while working.

We like how flexible the coworking space is – from intimate groups to larger ones. We can even book their biggest space for exclusive launches, workshops, and seminars.

Those who are searching for film and video rooms can explore the company’s fully sound-proofed studio. It’s complete with all the basic photo and video requirements, including a green screen, which earns them top marks from us!

Another great thing about the company  is that they can accommodate clients who would like to bring their furry friends. We appreciate that WOTSO has a pet-friendly zone, as we don’t have to worry about leaving our pets at home.

It’s also worth mentioning that the company has day passess, which provides a more flexible option to avail coworking spaces. With this, we don’t have to stress over being locked in longer contracts.

Even better, we can even opt for permanent desk memberships for more regular visits. Clients can drop by anytime of the day with their month-to-month package – still with no lock in contracts!
