In Complete Car Sound, one of the first things that was said to us was that booking an appointment is better for the next visit. Fortunately, they were just doing some inspections that time so we didn’t have to wait that long.

We suggest coming earlier if you’re going without booking in advance!

When it was my turn, they asked me for my preferred price range so they could suggest what I can afford from the wide catalogue. I went with an entire Pioneer sound system.

After those few hours passed, they called me up. I was immediately educated on how the things work, what settings I can consider, and they also showed me the special features.

As we were leaving though, we overheard some clients complaining why the booking process takes so long. They all have the same concern, so we want to warn you that it might take a while before bookings can be accommodated, so just be early!

Installation was easy

For the next day, we found a spot around Colebrook Avenue. DriveSound didn’t really look appealing at first because of the dark and remote place. However, there were many cars parked outside, so it was a good sign.

Learning from the previous day, we tried to book a customer check-in. When we arrived there, the booking wasn’t listed. It was also inconvenient that we didn’t see any waiting spaces for customers. Still, we pushed through with the service.

When we mentioned wanting a car stereo installation, the team immediately pulled out their catalogue. Although they didn’t have as many

products to choose from as the first garage we went to, there were enough.

My friend went with a Kenwood 10.1-inch head unit along with an amplifier and speakers. They did parts of the installations simultaneously instead of one-by-one! The result was impeccable and the staff were great conversationalists as well.

Still, we could’ve enjoyed the experience better if they had the place look more appealing and if they improved their booking system. A waiting space for the customers would be great too, so we really hope they see this review!

Absolutely recommend the guys at drive sound. Honest, informative and very professionally. Bought an Apple CarPlay online that I couldn’t get to work as the main power cable did not match to my car. I didn’t catch the bloke that helped me today, however you sir saved me a lot of time and frustration. After assisting me and getting it working, I was not even charged! Our next stop was Northfield Car Sound, and it was an unconventional journey. From the start, we already sensed a lack of hospitality, which was a bit bothersome.

When they worked on my friend’s car, they moved much quicker compared to the previous stores. They also prepared custom sub boxes which were unique!

As we were looking around, we heard one of the staff doing an over the phone customer service. They were giving instructions to a client on how to troubleshoot some things in their ride. We found out that it’s actually one of the services they offer!

However, we also saw some testimonies of them not giving refunds if the installations or repairs have flaws afterwards. They also don’t install products that you don’t buy from them. Apart from all of these, they’re also quite expensive compared to other options.

Fortunately, the installation process was smooth, quick, and efficient. Although the sound quality was not at the absolute best, my friend hasn’t experienced other concerns. Hopefully it stays that way!

I couldn’t recommend these guys any higher from the moment I rang to the moment I collected my car. These guys have been insanely helpful. Got me in really quickly during the busiest period, replaced all my speakers and head unit and then even stayed open 15 minutes late, just so I can collect my car on a Saturday Arvo! Tbass Audio caught our attention with the way they brand themselves. They found success with custom moulded sub boxes!

Add to that their top-tier customer service spearheaded by their passionate owner. He was willing to go all the way when it comes to doing installations and giving advice–a true craftsman and worker.

However, we noticed that a part of the process involves cutting into factory mounts. With those damaged, there is an increased risk towards the overall health of the car and affects its value.

Fortunately, my friend loves his car and has no intention of selling it. The owner was also very reassuring and gave us his word of doing the repairs in case there were damages.

The sound and build quality were amazing, but the cosmetics of the installation were even better!

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. What started as a few phone calls for advice turned into an amazing job from a highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly team. My son ordered a head unit online which arrived minus some cords and other parts (the seller then became invisible) and Tim was so helpful on the phone and couldn’t do enough to help rectify the problem. Upon dropping the car off, the team went above and beyond to install a very tricky job and do it with perfection. I know it cost way more than Tim first quoted but he wouldn’t take any extra money. Both my sons and husband were so impressed. Highly recommend it.

Tbass are absolute legends, the crew are incredibly talented. Garage Audio is very particular with the brands they choose to work with. This means that the customer cannot just bring an aftermarket item and expect for it to be installed.

Still, the staff were very accommodating and were willing to educate us why this is the case. We didn’t have an aftermarket item on us, but they felt the need to explain why they enforce that rule.

The best part about Garage Audio was the pricing. They offer cheaper packages! Their work on the car of one of our friends was almost flawless. It’s more impressive that he availed of a Sony Full Audio Pack 1 that includes all components.

We were very surprised with the quality afterwards. And for the price that my friend paid, the results were up there with the more expensive ones we considered!

Great system, very professional, and a good price

Matt did a great job putting a new Sony head unit in my Landcruiser to replace the faulty one. Spoke to him in the morning, dropped the car in at 2pm, and the unit was done by 4pm. Great system, very professional, and a good price. I would highly recommend this business.
