For my first cabinet project, I hired DC Decorators & Painters. First off, the free quote deserves some attention. I had so many questions in mind, but I never felt like a waste of time to them because they were willing to answer all my queries over the phone!

And because they were so open to helping me with my project, they were quick to squeeze me into their schedule. Yes, they mentioned that they were busy that week, but I was still one of their priorities. Being prioritized by a service is an A1 feeling!

Apart from that, I’d also like to mention that after they gave a quote and a timeframe, they showed up the next day earlier than expected! Punctuality is never a question with these guys, because over a couple of days, they were never late.

While working on my cabinet, I noticed that they were extremely careful with moving it around. Plus, they also kept watching the floor for paint splatters. I appreciated their tidiness and how they also educated me about their 5-year warranty for security.

Additionally, DC Decorators & Painters went above and beyond in terms of responsiveness! They gave me frequent updates and replied almost instantly to every message and call. Apart from punctuality, these guys also boast reliability.

However, since they provide a week-long service, they have somewhat of a congested schedule. Although I was luckily squeezed into theirs, some clients might experience some lapses when it comes to booking. Regardless, with a service like that, it’s worth it!

Really cared about doing a great job

Dan and his team were fantastic. Even when quoting Dan spent time establishing exactly what we wanted and what we needed to achieve. Once we hired DC contractors they continued to keep us informed and really cared about doing a great job. The team was friendly, respectful and efficient. They arrived on time and were clean and tidy. We’ve had many tradies through our place and DC contractors were the best we’ve ever had. Our deck looks fantastic and we paid a good price. We plan to use DC contractors again for future painting/staining jobs. Dan was exceptional, he really went above and beyond. Highly recommend Dan and his team.

Gets the job done to an excellent standard

We got DC Decorators to rehaul two bedrooms after purchasing a property. The original state of the rooms were nothing short of awful! Daniel attended and worked methodically to provide us with two beautifully cleanly painted rooms. I hadn’t realised how uneven the walls were until I saw Daniel go to work and was absolutely delighted with the finished product. Lovely man to deal with also – polite, responsive. Gets the job done to an excellent standard. We are hoping to get him back to tackle our roof in the near future!

Unlike other firms, Kitchen Coatings does an out-of-home service, meaning they take the furniture with them. I found this extremely convenient because I didn’t have to worry about cleaning up afterwards. Although I was skeptical, I was proven wrong!

Despite their name being “Kitchen Coatings,” they also claim to specialize in other furniture. When I contacted them about my cabinet, they never hesitated to ask any questions about my preferences. They also gave out recommendations!

They sent out their driver, who was very nice and a great conversationalist. The nice guy made me trust them even more with my furniture. And, as someone who values friendly workers, they definitely met that expectation of mine.

After a few days, my cabinet was given back to me. In terms of quality? It was top tier. The same driver educated me about how their company uses a product called 2-Pac Polyurethane. He said it’s like paint that provides a protective coating. That checks out!

It didn’t stop there with them, though, because he was more than willing to check if I was satisfied with the product. I appreciate that he kept communicating as I was receiving my cabinet, like a post-work inspection.

Unfortunately, what let me down about their company was that they’re on the pricey side. Plus, their website needs a bit of updating to appeal to more customers like me. Still, they delivered on the service I availed, so that definitely overshadowed their flaws!

Kraudelt Painting raised the bar even higher for me after I searched them and saw that they’re CM3 registered. It’s basically to show that they’re up to industry standards when it comes to safety management. From there, I immediately knew to give them a call.

Before anything else, though, I appreciated that they have a “painting tips” tab on their website to help potential clients think twice about availing their services, so people like me can save money! Who doesn’t want that, right? Still, I went on to hire them.

After our initial conversation over the phone, they said they’ll give out quotes after a couple of days. It also came with a schedule that aligned with mine! When it comes to planning, these guys are next level. They’re more for efficiency than speed.

When they arrived, they were ready with their drop sheets that were spread out on my floor to help control the mess. I liked that it was the first thing on their mind, because the clean-up process is usually the most boring part of it all, at least for me.

They were also chatty throughout the process, educating me about what they do. And I haven’t even mentioned that they use eco-friendly products! That’s one way to convince customers to avail what they offer, because not all services have that.

Moreover, they thoroughly explained to me why they use a specific kind of paint and how different types are essential in finishing various projects. It showed not only knowledge, but passion and expertise. The finished product? Classy and beautiful.

I recommend them for many things, except for the fact that they can be unresponsive. For service firms, communication is key, so the room for improvement in that area is huge. Other than that, they do everything right, especially when it comes to tidiness!

Floor to Roof wasn’t joking with how their business is named. They literally fix and make everything in homes and commercial spaces beautiful! When I heard about them from a friend, I had no second thoughts and contacted them in an instant.

According to their website, they give discounts to retired individuals. I’m not retired myself, but it’s so nice to know that they care about a specific group of people in our society. If that doesn’t show their compassion, I don’t know what does!

The weather was a bit iffy when I hired them following a quick call and quoting, but they still proceeded with the job! It’s literally rain or shine for those folks, and I really valued that side of them. And I haven’t even brought up their competitive pricing!

It’s also important to mention that they loved asking questions during the process to make sure that I was satisfied with my decisions. When I felt doubtful, they gave a combination of reassurance and friendly advice. My cabinet looked fresher than ever!

Additionally, they noticed that the cabinet I assigned them had some broken parts like a misplaced hinge and a slightly bent shelf. They offered to fix it for no additional fees! I give them an A+ just for being that thoughtful and excellent at what they do.

I just really wish they had eco-friendly methods like other firms I’ve hired for that A++. I can give them a pass, though, because they specialize in other parts of the house like walls, roofs, and floors. Still, it’d be nice to have it as an option!

The work is very good

We needed to refresh our downstairs area- and Mike came to us via word of mouth. He was prompt in all aspects and managed the work well from initial visit/quote to finishing up. From the straightforward parts like walls/ceiling through to difficult restoring 100 yr old French doors the work is very good. Many thanks!

You already know how much I love free quotes to ease my pockets, so when I discovered RKL Painters online, my first instinct was to phone them right away.

After the quoting, discussion, and scheduling parts, they were very punctual. They presented themselves like top-of-the-line professionals at the job unlike most firms with a more casual vibe. It was definitely a breath of fresh air for me!

Even though they were only working on one of my cabinets, they were more than willing to give me advice on how to paint and walk me through the step-by-step process. Maybe they want me to join their team? I’m clearly joking, but I felt secure after that!

Moreover, they gave me timely updates as well. And I forgot to mention that they’re the ones who assisted me in choosing colors that best fit the design! I trusted their skills, and I was right. My furniture looked like it was newly bought!

I would’ve appreciated it if they also focused on cleanliness, but given, painting is a messy job. However, I think they should have more color varieties in their style instead of just the modern look. If they figured that out, who knows the limits they can reach!

I would only trust RKL Painters

We had our whole house exterior painted. Couldn’t fault the workmanship, attention to detail, customer service and communication. At all times we were made to feel like our satisfaction in the finished product was of utmost importance. No doubt this is why every review is 5 stars. It is well deserved as the effort and hard work that Romeo and Liam put in was inspiring. Now we are planning to have the whole inside refreshed and wouldn’t even consider seeking another quote as I would only trust RKL Painters.

Reasonable price and very professional

I couldn’t be happier with RKL Painters. Our warehouse was a mess, paint peeling, mold everywhere. Romeo and Liam turned our warehouse back to new. They knew exactly what to do. Firstly, the preparation they did was great, and after the painting, it looked so fresh and you can see the finish looks amazing. Romeo, the owner, was very helpful with the choice of colours. Romeo and Liam are hardworking and worked efficiently to get the job done within the time I needed. They are very genuine and respectful guys and they keep you updated the whole way through.
