Pros
- Offers discounted price for people with disabilities
- Currently develops sensory maps to cater to people with sensory issues
Cons
- 18-minutes per game limit
- Strict no ID no entry rule
If you want a little bit of everything, Strike Bowling is the place to go. When we say a little bit of everything, we mean when you want to take a break from bowling, there’s laser tag, escape rooms, and even karaoke for you to enjoy!
We love how the bowling alley seems to be really good at handling big groups and events. They’re very organized and can cater to requests of different groups no matter how busy the day is.
When we talked to some of the alley’s customers, they’re all raving about the interior of the place—well lit, clean, and well-maintained. They loved the chill atmosphere, the background music, and the lighting that reminded them of a retro diner.
But among all these features, what we appreciate the most is the discount for people with disabilities. In addition to that, Strike Bowling also accepts companion cards and makes sure the place is accessible for everyone.
We’re just a little disappointed regarding the alley’s 18-minutes per game rule. While it’s not strictly imposed during non-busy days, you’ll find yourselves rushing the game during a full day, and that’s not enjoyable at all!
We also think Strike Bowling should be a little lenient when it comes to IDs, or at least offer an alternative to those who forgot their IDs. If people in the group can vouch for the identity of a person, then perhaps he can play instead of not being allowed to enter.

Pros
- Has varied package options
- Street parking available
Cons
- Has a tendency to reschedule bookings at the last minute
- Some balls are dusty and sticky
Perhaps one of Aspley 10 Pin Bowl’s strengths is its varied package options. They have several packages that fit different types of groups, so you might want to check them out for your convenience.
We love its facilities! The place is obviously well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and clean lanes, though sometimes some balls are sticky and a little dusty so that might turn you off a little.
In terms of customer service, we love how the staff immediately attends to the customers. If you start to have problems in your lane, all you need to do is inform the staff and they’ll immediately transfer you to another lane with no fuss at all!
Bowling runs on time, and every minute wasted matters. So we all appreciate this kind of attentiveness and quick action, most especially because it saves us the time and the hassle.
We think the food is great, by the way, and something you can truly enjoy munching on while playing. The serving of the food is just right—not too little but not too big either, which will satisfy any customer.
We think you should also know that Aspley has a tendency to book schedules close to one another that some customers have to reschedule because the previous schedule isn’t done yet. We recommend checking everything prior to your schedule to avoid this.

Pros
- Has a big car park for customers
- Kid-friendly
Cons
- Overpriced food
- Limited chairs for guests
Zone Bowling Capalaba is worthy to be on our list because of several things, but the best reason has to be this–it’s kid-friendly! So if you have kids or kid siblings or relatives, this is the perfect place for them to enjoy.
The alley hosts kiddie parties, which is probably the reason why its staff know how to handle and communicate best with kids. They’re also very helpful and attend to every need without delay.
We think you’ll find it a good thing that Zone Bowling can accommodate late reservations or emergency bookings. The staff will try to squeeze you in without causing inconvenience to other customers, which is amazing customer service!
We think it’s made for families and huge groups because even the car parking is big enough to cater to several customers. Parking has always been a problem to many, but you can bring everyone to Zone Bowling and still have space for their cars!
We recommend adding more chairs for guests though. Some customers we’ve talked to complained about not being able to sit during a full house because there are very limited chairs.
Some food is also overpriced. And since people love to eat while doing physical activities, we think they need more budget-friendly food on the menu.

Pros
- Best food options
- Staff’s very organized in scheduling activities per group
Cons
- Other amenities close earlier than scheduled
- Some machines are old and need replacement
If you want order amid chaos, we recommend Kingpin Chermside. It sounds like it doesn’t make sense, but when you book a lane on a busy day and you see the staff attending to every group that booked that day, we promise you’ll see our point!
Kingpin Chermside offers a lot of activities other than bowling, and each activity has different schedules. We aren’t sure how they do it, but despite the number of bookings, the staff perfectly handle all of them so that there’s rarely a mix-up in the schedules!
In fact, when we asked some of its customers, they said that the thing they loved the most was the variety of entertaining activities. If one of their friends or family preferred other activities such as laser or billiards, then they could try those instead.
We have to warn you though—sometimes other activities such as the arcades close earlier than scheduled. If you want to enjoy them, we recommend booking them earlier or trying them earlier since the alley also accepts walk-ins.
Other than the easy booking process, we also appreciate the food! Kingpin Chermside has some of the best food options, you don’t want to miss trying their menu.
The place is sparkling clean too, including the lanes, balls, and seats. We think some machines need to be replaced though because they’re already quite old and don’t work at times, disrupting the game.
5. Caboolture Bowl & Mini Golf

Pros
- Affordable group packages
- Attentive staff
Cons
- Sticky tables and chairs
- Long waiting time even with schedule
Caboolture Bowl & Mini Golf focuses on two major sports–bowling and golf. But if you want to add variety to your booking, then there are also other activities that you might want to try like laser tag, which is as enjoyable as the main offers.
If you and your friends want to have fun with just a little budget, then we think you’ll love their affordable packages. Caboolture seems to be keen on keeping their customers happy so it offers activities you’ll enjoy at such flexible rates!
We asked a few of their customers why they keep coming back to Caboolture, and they said they loved how the staff took care of them. It’s difficult to assist several customers especially on a full day, but the staff make sure to attend to every customer’s needs!
By the way, we know you’re here for the bowling, but you might also want to try the golf. Caboolture has its mini golf course that glows when you play, so it might be more than entertaining for anyone who wants to try it.
Perhaps one of the things we think the bowling alley can improve on is its booking process. Sometimes there are mix-ups in the schedule that cause a long waiting time, and you don’t want to experience that on a day that you’re supposed to have fun.
Also, we understand that it gets busy at certain times of the day, but we hope the tables and chairs can be cleaned before the next group. Customers would appreciate the almost-perfect customer service if it includes clean amenities.
