KitchenU came highly recommended by a contractor friend who used them for several renovation projects in Brisbane. I decided to visit their Logan showroom to see the quality myself, and it didn’t disappoint. 

Their craftsmanship immediately stood out. The cabinet doors were perfectly aligned, the edges clean, and the finishes—from matte whites to textured wood grains—looked premium even on mid-range options.

What impressed me most was their flexibility. KitchenU’s made-to-measure service allowed me to adjust cabinet depths and heights.

The design consultation process was smooth and efficient. Their in-house designer used 3D visuals to show how each module would look.

For value, their DIY and flat-pack options offered great savings without sacrificing quality. Everything was cut to size and ready to assemble, a big plus for those renovating on a budget. 

Lead times were reasonable too. My order took about three weeks, and the team updated me regularly on production and delivery progress. 

However, while the pricing was fair, installation wasn’t included for DIY packages. Also, weekend appointments at the showroom tend to fill up quickly, so booking early is essential.

I first discovered KBK Kitchens after visiting a friend’s newly renovated home in New Farm, and the cabinetry instantly caught my eye. The joinery was flawless—sleek matte finishes and seamless handleless doors.

During my own kitchen design consultation, I appreciated how their designer translated my mood board into a practical layout. They even used 3D modeling to help me visualize the space before final approval.

The installation team was punctual and coordinated everything efficiently, from removing old cabinetry to aligning new fittings. Each measurement was precise, and there was minimal disruption during the renovation.

I also liked that their cabinetry is locally manufactured in their Brisbane factory. They guided me through every material choice from bench tops to splashbacks with clear explanations on durability and maintenance. 

However, getting a quotation took a bit longer than expected, especially during their busy season. Weekend appointments were also limited, which made scheduling a challenge.

I came across A & W Kitchens while helping a family friend renovate their 20-year-old kitchen in north Brisbane. They wanted a modern layout that maximized space but still kept a homely feel.

From the first meeting, I noticed how detailed their team was. They measured every inch of the room and suggested a corner pantry design that saved extra space.

The 3D design drawings were impressive and easy to visualize. I could see how the color palette and finishes would look in real life before final approval.

Their craftsmanship stood out during installation. The hinges were perfectly aligned, and the soft-close drawers operated smoothly. The project was finished on schedule, with minimal disruption to the household.

However, communication could be more consistent during the manufacturing stage. There were a few days of delay in updates, which made tracking progress a bit tricky.

I cannot recommend A&W specifically Zane, highly enough. Having a kitchen island custom designed & made living 8hrs away felt risky but Zane came highly recommended. The island turned out spectacularly and matches the rest of the kitchen as though it has always been there. The attention to detail, quality of the workmanship & professionalism really stands out. Accessible and easy to communicate with 

My husband and I enlisted A & W Kitchens to install a new kitchen in our investment property. The service provided by Nolan was excellent. He was prompt, helpful and was always accessible. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality and workmanship was of a high standard and price was reasonable. We were unable to be on site to supervise the works so everything was based on trust.
