Although it’s a small company, Oliver, its owner, is able to provide an extensive range of carpentry and renovation services. Manpower may be limited, but his experience and skill are top-notch.

Due to having a small staff, the waiting list could get longer than expected, so you might not be able to schedule an appointment on your most preferred date. 

On the other hand, we like that OB Carpentry treats every project as a collaborative venture between Oliver and his customers. He makes it a point to communicate every aspect to make sure that customers are in the loop and able to provide feedback immediately. 

Perhaps the most special thing about OB Carpentry is that it works on projects one at a time, allowing Oliver and his staff to focus all their energy and creativity into a single project.

However, we wish that Oliver and his staff could be a bit more thorough and detail-oriented, but we can’t really blame them since they deal with a lot of customers every day. For that, we give them a pass.

BBI Professional Carpentry has a lot of guys who are experts in a wide range of carpentry works, including repairs, renovation, and general property maintenance. They can provide top-quality workmanship, which we’ve seen ourselves. 

A quick qualifier, though: if your home needs a major renovation, though, you might want to look for other companies. BBI Professional Carpentry focuses on small-scale, minor renovations. 

Despite that, we like that developing strong relationships with customers is their priority. Their idea of high-quality services includes a healthy connection with existing and past customers.

Although the customer experience during the project is phenomenal, we did find the after-sale support to be the opposite. We had a hard time contacting them after the project. 

We don’t know if this is because they deal with a lot of customers every day, but we would’ve liked it if they were consistent, even if they’re fixing our home and we’re no longer paying for their services. 

If customer service isn’t a big deal for you, then Hammer & Chisel Carpentry is a good option. But there are other carpentry companies out there with more competitive rates and more consistent customer support.
