This company is great at replying quickly. When you call them for service, they ask you to take a picture or video of the animal first for identification. They then reply with information about the creature, which I like. This is free of charge, by the way.

If you call over one of their catchers, they’ll schedule fairly promptly. Most of their clients reported arrival in under 30 minutes, which is impressive. They even provide you with professional tips for safety while waiting.

Handling is also humane and aboveboard. The only issue I’d have with this service is that it’s snakes-only. You’ll have to choose from the other options on this list if your unwelcome guest is of a different species.

Late at night letting our pup out for the toilet we stumbled across this little guy we had never seen before so we did a google search hoping to identify and found it may be a eastern small-eyed. To confirm we sent Brisbane Snake Catchers an email to identify. Super fast reply to my email and spot on with this free identification service even considering our pic was a bit blurry. Peter the Possum Man’s business name might make it sound like they only deal with possums, but they actually handle all sorts of animals. They specialize in possums, sure, but they can deal with even things like bee problems too.

Anyone, one thing you’ll hear from most of their clients is that they’re great communicators Always on time with responses with clear explanations that make you feel reassured. Quotes are free, by the way.

After their removals, they sometimes provide paraphernalia like possum boxes and a few repairs as part of their 12-month warranty! If the possums come back, they come back as well, and free of charge!

It’s just a shame that they close early and don’t provide any weekend services.

My sanity has been saved by engaging with Peter the Possum Man and his helpful team. We built a new house and installed solar panels, which the local pigeon population thought was a delightful new home for them. All day I would hear pigeons cooing and pooping from my roof. Communication with the team was great. We had the solar panels cleaned the day before the pigeon proofing was installed. The installer sent photos to confirm the job had been finished. The pigeons no longer have an area to roost and nest under. I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend this service.

Friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced

We recently had Michael attend our place to remove a possum from our roof space. Michael was lovely to deal with, friendly, professional and very reasonably priced. After having recent work done on our roof and a hole repaired, I was worried the possum had no way of getting out and could potentially die of thirst or hunger. So the team were able to reschedule some jobs, to attend our place ASAP, taking care of the possum’s welfare. I was very grateful that the possum was safely removed in a timely manner. Here’s another company branded around possum removal but actually capable of dealing with other pests. I actually tried them myself, since I needed someone to deal with a flock of pesky pigeons at my place.

They do free quotes and 24-hour service. The latter definitely sets them apart from many other companies I looked up, so it’s a plus.

In my case, they arrived in 45 minutes, surveyed the situation in 5, and got to work immediately after. Paul himself removed the birds safely and cleaned my roof. He also provided bird-proofing deterrents like spikes and wires for prevention.

The only downside? Since he’s only one guy, the removal process took a bit longer than it would have with a bigger team.

Would 100% recommend

Paul is very knowledgeable and friendly, we had a possum in our roof, he came out promptly and thoroughly identified the entry points. Our roof was tricky and he put a lot of work in to get the job done properly.  I would 100% recommend Pauls Possum Removal.

This company specializes in insects like cockroaches and fleas, but also have rodent removal. They also provide an annual plan for pest removal, which may be useful to those afflicted with critters that tend to come back.

Clients note that they always arrive on time and work fast. The downside is that they use rat poison for rodents, which may not be good for people with pets. 

Their pricing is fair, although some people say the annual plan is questionable due to inconsistencies in results or perks. They may be better for ad hoc services instead of regular ones, as such.

These guys are quick to arrive and answer questions. They claim to use eco-friendly products, although they still do eliminate rats in their methods. 

Their technique is mainly dependent on traps that they place strategically throughout the home. They walk clients through the process too so that homeowners understand the steps being taken and what to do or not do in their absence. 

Clients agree that they generally get reliable and fast results. The only thing that’s really preventing the firm from being considered the best around is their limited variety of services. This is because they only catch rats. 

Definitely the best pest control service we’ve used

I highly recommend Vik’s Rat Pest Control services! He was very thorough in inspecting our property and identified several entry and exit points where rats were getting in. He took the time to seal these areas and set up traps in strategic locations. What impressed me the most was how he explained everything clearly and followed up to ensure the problem was fully resolved. Since his visit, we haven’t had any issues. Definitely the best pest control service we’ve used!

We won’t go anywhere else for pest control

We had a mouse do quite a bit of damage at our house. After other exterminators came and went without getting him, Vik came in and set new traps and within a week, the mouse was dead. Vik went on to set traps outside and ever since, we’ve had dead mice outside and none inside – no one wants a dead mouse around but it’s far better they’re outside than inside. Vik really knows what he is doing and we won’t go anywhere else for pest control. Highly recommend.
